Today’s Promise

1 John 5:14-15

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

If you have ever wondered was God hearing your prayer, today’s promise is for you.

What a promise! You can have confidence that God is going to hear your prayer.

Few of us would say we pray with confidence. For many of us, prayer is difficult and even challenging. So often we come to God with hope instead of faith. We hope He hears, we hope He answers, we hope we are praying correctly.

God invites you to come boldly into His presence and make your request before Him. You can pray in confidence because of the intimate relationship you have with God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not about how good you are, but about all Christ has done for you. Because of your faith in Christ, you can take God’s word seriously and stand strong in asking for the things He has promised.

Jesus was always confident that God heard His prayers. Because of your relationship with Him, you can have that same confidence as well.

God hearing your prayer is not just God acknowledging your request. God “hearing” your prayer is understanding that when He hears your prayer He will answer. It is like the King who hears the request of his servant and responds. When God hears your prayer, He answers your prayer.

You have the full assurance of God answering your prayer as you lift them up to Him.

Let’s repeat that promise one more time.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us inwhatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. – 1 John 5:14-15

Confess this With me

God has invited me to come boldly into His presence

I can confidently bring any request to God

As I pray according to His will, I know He will answer.

I know that He will answer my prayer.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

You can be confident to approach God, and confident that He will hear and answer your prayer.

Are you confident in your prayer? What is the biggest struggle you have when it comes to prayer? Let me know in the comments below.

I have been a born again, Holy Ghost filled Christian for almost 6 years now. However, the last year has been hard for me to remain and continue. Its has been a slow fade and the last month I have slowly been out of His word and stopped praying. I don’t know how it ended up this far and now I don’t know how to get back where I need to be. It is a struggle. The cares of this world have truly began to choke out his worst in me. Not because I care more about the world but just the business of life. My husband is not saved and we have 5 kids between 10 and 15. As the spiritual leader of the home it has gotten harder and harder. I just feel defeated and ashamed. Please pray that whatever the hindrance or stronghold is that it will break and be removed that I can do my first works over and rekindle my first love with Jesus again. I long to get back to where we once were, I just don’t know how. Thank you!! God Bless…

I’m very confident in prayer. I’m crazy enough to believe that what thing soever I ask of God, he’s going to do it. My biggest struggle with prayer is that I don’t feel that I do it enough. I believe in the word of God and I trust in him, I take him at his word!!!

I always end my prayer with this statement ( Lord I ask this prayer knowing you have answered and I give you the glory in Jesus name.
    Amen. )
I know if it’s his will and in his time not mine this prayer will be answered.

I believe this is true and i have so much faith and its my testimony that i have seen Gods miraculous works in my life…Just call out to Him and pray..not just for yourself but for others and He does listen and when 2 or more come to agreement in prayer..makes prayer even stronger and God is right there and He loves people that pray…everything is for Gods glory..He’s so amazing..just trust Him and put Him first and He will give you the desires of your heart and remember its in Gods timing..not ours..if God is telling you something..listen and do it…He is always there if you are a child of God….
