This Week’s Scriptures

Proverbs 10:28 | Proverbs 3:6 | Joshua 23:10 | Jeremiah 29:11 | 1 John 1:7

It’s been a great week on the Daily Promise. Saturday is a review day. Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week., so let’s get started.

We began the week seeing how our hope in Christ brings us joy.

The hope of the righteous brings joy. – Proverbs 10:28

On Tuesday we saw that as we acknowledge God in every area of life He will direct remove the obstacles and detours of life.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. – Proverbs 3:6

On Wednesday we saw how amazing things happen when we allow God to empower and fight our battles for us.

One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the LORD your God who fights for you, just as he promised you. – Joshua 23:10

On Thursday we discovered how God has wonderful plan for each of our lives.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11

We closed out the week seeing how God has given us a new heart that is turned toward Him and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The promise is found in Ezekiel 36:26-27.

But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. – 1 John 1:7

Confess this with me.

I have joy because my hope is in the Lord.
I don’t fear tomorrow because God is in control.
I have a confident assurance that I will spend eternity in the presence of God enjoying the joys of heaven.

As I acknowledge the Lord in all my ways,
He is giving me direction and leadership.
He is removing every obstacle.
He is making my path straight and clear.
He is directing me in every decision I make today.

Today, I will win the battle because God fights for me
I can face any enemy with God on my side.
He has promised I can drive away any enemy
Because He fights for me.

God has a plan for my life.
His plan is for my good.
He is giving me a future.
I have hope as I trust in His plan

In Jesus Christ, my sin has been forgiven.
God has cleansed me from all the shame, guilt and pain of my past sins.
I am clean and pure before Him.
I no longer identify with my sin, but with my righteousness in Christ
When I sin, God forgives me and cleanses my heart.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

Take a moment and share one of the promises we have reviewed, it will encourage and bless them. While you are at it, invite them to visit dailypromise.com
