This Week’s Scriptures

Psalm 1:3

Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise. Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week. So let’s get started.

This week we focused on one verse that has five promises built in.

When you delight in God’s word and make Him the focus of your life, God does five things in your life

  • You will be like a firmly planted tree.
  • You will be planted by streams of life-giving water.
  • You will be a spiritually fruitful Christian
  • You will be strong even when others around you are fainting.
  • You will prosper in all you do.

Confess this with me.

As I delight in God’s word, I will be like a firmly planted tree.
God has me where I am for a purpose
The storms of life will not move me because I am firmly planted
I will make an impact on those around me for generations to come.

God has planted me firmly by streams of living water.
His spirit is refreshing and empowering me.
His Word is cleansing and strengthening me.
I am a beacon, showing the world where the giver of life can be found.

I am a fruitful Christian.
God is growing the fruit of the spirit within me.
God is using me to multiply the Kingdom of God.
The fruit of my life is the changed lives of those around me.

No matter what the situation, God will preserve me.
In the darkest of winter, I will still flourish.
When everyone else is fainting, I Will be strong.
In Jesus Christ, I will not fade but will bring glory to God.

I have wisdom for making wise choices.
I prosper in my career, my relationships, and my finances.
My prosperity is a witness to the wisdom in living God’s way
I have true success as I delight in God’s Word

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Look at the promise one last time.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. – Psalms 1:3

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

Take a moment and share this promise with a friend. It will encourage and bless them. While you are at it, invite them to visit dailypromise.com

This helped me so much this week. It was my first week on my dream job and it really helped me focus on what mattered and not let my anxiety get the best of me. So thankful for this.
