Today’s Promise
I Am Equipped by Christ
Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
God Equips You.
He has given you everything you need to do His will. When you came to Christ in faith, God empowered you and gave you everything you need to walk in obedience to Him.
Whatever God calls you to today, you are equipped to handle. God never commands you to do something that He doesn’t empower you to do. When I was a boy, our pastor used to say, “God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.”
When God called you to Himself, He equipped and qualified you with everything you need to walk in obedience to Him. Sure, there will be challenges and struggles, but God has provided all you need. Are you ministering where you just don’t feel qualified? God qualifies those He calls.
Do you feel overwhelmed by the pressures of Life?
God is giving you everything you need. Ever feel inadequate, or that you are in way over your head? God will strengthen and empower you.
God has equipped you to have victory over every temptation because of the work of Christ in you.
No matter what you are facing today, you can accomplish all God has for you because He has already equipped you. You have all you need for victory and obedience.
Review the promise again.

God has equipped me to walk in obedience today.
God called me and qualified me.
In Jesus Christ, I can handle anything that comes my way.
I walk in victory because God has equipped me.
