Today’s Promise

God’s Promises Never Fail

1 Kings 8:56

Blessed be the LORD who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by Moses his servant.

Incredible power is released when you review how God has dealt with you in the past.

In this case, Solomon is giving a blessing to the people of God. As he reviews their history, he concludes that God’s promises have never failed. That what God has said He will do, He does.

I love the phrase, “Not one word has failed.” You can claim the promises of the Bible because they are the word of God, and God always keeps His word.

As someone who has walked with the Lord for many years, I can confess that God has never failed to accomplish His word and His will in my life. At times, I may not understand it, but as I look back on my life, I can see the hand of God working in me.

The God you serve is the God who makes good on His promises.

You and I can stand alongside King Solomon and agree that not one word of God has failed.

Faith is believing that what God has said; He will do. Reviewing how God has worked in your life in the past is a powerful way of strengthening your faith. Sure there were times when you felt like He wasn’t going to come through. You may have experienced times of discouragement, but God has always fulfilled His promise to you.

Take a few moments today and review how God has been faithful in your life. Even when you made mistakes and missed God, He has been faithful to provide loving care to you.

Look at that promise once again.

Blessed be the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by Moses his servant. – 1 Kings 8:56

Make this confession.

Every promise of God will come true.
Even when I don’t understand, God is working to fulfill His word.
I trust God, that what He has said, He will do.
I claim God’s promise to me today.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you begin your week, remember, the God you serve is the promise-keeping God. He will always fulfill His word.

A good lesson taught about God promises.

At this promise, I believe, stead “His people Israel”, we can substitute with “His real believers” and
“He spoke by Moses” with “He spoke by Jesus” for now!

Great word. I am reminded, encouraged and uplifted that God’s Promises are true and never fail. Always loved this scripture.
    Thank you
