Review Saturday
This Week’s Scriptures

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise.
Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.
We began the week seeing how we are no longer slaves, but sons of the most high God.
Here’s the promise.
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!” – Romans 8:15
Confess this with me.
- In Jesus Christ, I am a child of God.
- I am adopted into God’s family as His child.
- I don’t live in fear because God is my Father.
- I have received a spirit of adoption.
In Jesus Name,

On Tuesday, we celebrated the promise that God is providing all we need through Christ.
Here’s the promise.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19
Confess this with me.
- God is meeting my every need.
- He is meeting those needs through Christ Jesus.
- I will not worry or live in fear because my God is meeting my every need.
- I put my faith and trust in Him.
In Jesus Name,

Midway through the week, we discovered that God is always doing a new work in us. God has given us new life in Him, a new spirit, a new nature and a host of other new things.
Here’s the promise.
Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19
Make this confession.
- My God is the God of new beginnings.
- He is doing a new work in my life.
- Father, thank you for all you will do in 2020.
- I give this next year to You, for Your glory.
In Jesus Name,

On Thursday, we saw how God is always working for my good. I may not see it yet, but God brings everything together for my good and His glory.
Here’s the promise.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28
Confess this with me.
- I know that whatever I face, God has a plan.
- He is working for my good and His glory.
- God can use everything for good that comes into my life.
- God can use every situation I face for His glory and my good.
In Jesus Name,

We closed out the week with the promise that God invites us to come before Him with confidence where we find grace and mercy.
Here’s the promise,
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. – Hebrews 4:16
Confess this with me.
- God invites me to come before Him with confidence.
- I come before the throne of grace, not the throne of condemnation.
- I find mercy and help when I come before Him in prayer.
- At His feet, I find grace, mercy, and help.

That’s it for this week. I hope these five promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His Word.
Let me encourage you to do two things tomorrow.
First, take a moment and share The Daily Promise with a friend. Everyone needs encouragement from God’s Word.
Second, pray for this ministry. I’m believing God to expand the ministry as never before. I’m praying we encourage thousands of people with God’s Word in 2020.
