Review Saturday

This Week’s Scriptures

Psalm 31:24 | 2 Samuel 22:29  | John 15:16 | 2 Samuel 22:34 | John 15:11

Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise.

Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow God’s word to go deep in our hearts. So let’s get started.

We started off the week talking about our hope in the Lord.

Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the Lord. – Psalm 31:24

Here’s the Confession.

I put my hope in the Lord.
God is strengthening me as I hope in Him.
I have newfound courage through my hope in Christ.
One day my hope will become reality as I see Him face to face.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Tuesday we saw how God lights our way.

Here’s the promise.

For you are my lamp, O LORD, and my God lightens my darkness. – 2 Samuel 22:29

Confess this.

God is my lamp.
He is bringing clarity, protection, and guidance to me today.
As I walk in His light, my fear is removed.
His light will keep me from stumbling.
God turns my darkness into light.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Wednesday we claimed the promise that we are chosen by God.

Heres’ the promise, right from Jesus lips.

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain. – John 15:16

Make This Confession.

Before I ever knew Him, God chose me.
I had and have nothing to offer Him.
It was His incredible love that reached out to me.
I am His child today because He loves me so much.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Thursday we saw how God secures our steps.

He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. – 2 Samuel 22:34

Confess this.

When I feel I am out on a limb, God will secure my steps.
He will set my feet on stable ground.
I will not worry for He keeps me from falling.
God is leading me to new heights in him.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

We finished off the week celebrating the joy Jesus promises to everyone who follows Him.

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. – John 15:11

Here’s the Confession.

God desires for me to live a joy-filled life.
As I walking fellowship Christ I live in joy.
I experience complete joy as I walk in His presence.
His joy gives me the strength to face anything life throws my way.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

Guys, if you haven’t picked up a copy of my book, “Praying for Your Wife,” take a moment an order it from Amazon. It’s helped men around the world learn how to pray for their wife.”

Thanks for being a part of the daily promise family.

I’ll have a new post on Monday with a new set of God’s promises for the week.

Which of the promises were a blessing to you? Let me know in the comments below.
