Today’s Promise

January 3, 2021

God is Doing a New Work in Me

Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19

Happy New Year

Happy new year. I pray this year is filled with the blessings and favor of God.

If you are like me, I am thankful that 2021 is in the rearview mirror and am looking forward to all God will do in 2022.

Aren’t you glad God gives us new beginnings? Every 365 days, He gives a new year.

I believe God gives us each new year as a chance to start afresh. No matter what last year was like, we can pack it up, pick up a new calendar and start anew.

God also wants to do something new in you.

New Beginnings

New beginnings remind us to leave behind the past and move forward to what God has before us. No matter what yesterday was like for you, tomorrow allows you to start anew.

Are you ready for God to do something new in you? Are you ready to seek Him in new ways? Are you stepping out in new areas of faith to trust God for new blessings? Are you ready for God to lead you into things you’ve never experienced before?

God’s New Beginnings

The God of new beginnings wants to do a new thing in your life today.

He wants to,

  • Put a new song in your heart. (Psalm 40:5)
  • Give you a new heart. (Ezekiel 11:19)
  • Restore your health and heal your wounds. (Jeremiah 30:17)
  • Give you a new life. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
  • Give you a new self. (Ephesians 4:22-24)

God’s Work in You

As we begin this new year, God wants to do more in your life than you can ever imagine. He wants to grow your faith, deepen your love, and work through you as never before.

If you are facing a wilderness, God will make a way for you. In the desert, His Spirit will provide streams of refreshment for you.

God wants to do a new thing in your life right now. If you let Him, this year can be the beginning of a new and deeper walk with Jesus.

Look at that promise again.

Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19

Make these confessions.

  • My God is the God of new beginnings.
  • He is doing a new work in my life.
  • Father, thank you for all you will do in the days to come.
  • I give you this year for Your glory.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Aren’t you glad God is doing something new in you? All you need to do is release your life into His hands.

Let’s make 2022 the year we allow God to do a new work in our  hearts and lives. I am praying this year is a breakthrough year for you. I am so excited to see all God does in 2022

If you made a year-end gift to the ministry, thank you so much love and support.

I believe God is going to bring to pass the vision he placed in my hear 20 years ago. I believe he will allow many doors to open for me to share the book He had me to write “Walk on Water”. I am believing that God will bring forth healing in my body. My prayers of salvation for my family both immediate and extended will come to pass. I believe God for healing of our nation . In Jesus name amen.

Lovely. Incidentally, we read the same scripture together as a family. I bless the Lord for the confirmation of His Word.

Thank you so much and happy new year to you as well.

Happy New Year! My prayer for all of the Daily Promise listeners is that we would take hold of Christ with our whole hearts and minds so God’s Glory can be seen in and through us.
May all us pray fervently for Billy and all pastors. Pastors need our support and encouragement for the good work God has for them. Especially pray for courage, wisdom and discernment to stand against evil.
