Today’s Promise

God Will Freely Give Me All Things.

Romans 8:32

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

God Willingly Sent His Son

If God willingly sent His only Son to come and die for you on the cross, why would He not willingly help you when you call on Him?

If we could ever truly grasp that God is a good God, and He wants to bless us, it would completely transform our lives.

Instead of coming to God as His child, expecting God to give us what we need, we often come to Him either not expecting an answer or begging and pleating for His blessing.

This promise reminds us that God has given us the greatest gift of all in His Son Jesus. He willingly sent Jesus down into our world to die for our sins. If God was willing to give us this ultimate sacrifice, why would He not be willing to give us what we need?

God Is On Your Side

Peter reminds us in 2 Peter 1:3 that God has already given us all we need for life. Just a few verses earlier, Paul says in verse 28 that God is working all things together for our good. In the verse just before this (v.31), Paul says that if God is for us, who can be against us?

God is not a stingy God that you have to beg for His attention or blessing. As His child, he has already blessed you with everything you need in Christ. God is on your side and is working for your good.

God has already given you the greatest gift of all. He has blessed you with salvation and eternal life. What makes you think that He is not working for your good today?

Sure, there will be some days of trouble and trial, but God will work them for your good. He will be there with you, on your side in the trial and will give you the strength to overcome.

Remember

Why not begin your day remembering that God will freely give you all things. Put this promise on the mirror in your bathroom and review it while you brush your teeth. Place it in your car, your office, or throughout your house as a reminder of His desire to bless you. It will change your heart and strengthen your faith.

When you pray, pray in faith, knowing that the God who was willing to give His only Son will give you whatever you need today.

Look at that verse again.

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? – Romans 8:32

Make these confessions.

  • God is on my side, working for my good.
  • He willingly gave His Son to purchase my salvation.
  • He will freely give me everything I need.
  • I can come to Him as His child, knowing He will bless me and give me all things.

In Jesus name,
Amen
