Today’s Promise

God’s Love for Me Never Changes

Isaiah 54:10

“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the LORD who has compassion on you.

Count on God’s Love

There is only one thing you can count on in this world, and it’s not death and taxes. When your whole world is shaken, and everything seems to be falling apart, you can always count on God’s love.

God’s love is at the very center of the Gospel. His love sent Jesus to bring us salvation. His love is poured out on us every day.

The Old Testament often uses the word “lovingkindness” to describe God’s love. Lovingkindness is not a word we use very often. It’s one of those Bible words you hear but may not really know what it means.

Lovingkindness

Lovingkindness is God’s commitment love for you. His lovingkindness is his love for you that goes beyond your response. Lovingkindness is God’s, loyal love. It is his determined love that shows mercy and forgiveness. He has a committed love for you.

Grace

The New Testament word for lovingkindness is grace. God’s grace is poured out on you every day. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more and nothing you can do to make God love you less. His grace is has nothing to do with how good or bad you are.

When your world falls apart or you experience a major failure, it’s easy to feel like no one loves you. We have all had times when friends abandoned us, and we were left all alone. When you really mess up and fall into sin, it’s easy to think that God no longer loves you. God’s love for you doesn’t change because of your actions.

God’s Promise

When God makes a promise, He keeps it. He promises to love you no matter what you go through. God’s love is the one thing you can always count on. No matter what the situation, no matter how you feel or what you have done, God’s love will always be there. God’s love never changes, never fails, and never ends.

Look at that promise again.

“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the Lord who has compassion on you.” – Isaiah 54:10

Make these confessions.

  • God has a committed love for me.
  • I can count on His love, no matter what happens in life.
  • Even when I am unfaithful, God’s love for me doesn’t change.
  • God’s love for me will never change, never fail, and never end.

In Jesus name,
Amen

When everything falls apart and you feel like everyone has deserted you, there is one thing you can count on; God’s love.

Good message, thanks for sharing. Just recently Gods spirit impressed upon me this same message about his love one morning. As I was getting dressed, my eyes caught hold of a picture on the wall with the scripture Romans 8: 38, “For I am persuaded…” It was a spiritual moment as God confirmed to me how much He loves me.

When God reveals to you a glimmer of how much He loves you, it changes everything. Thanks for sharing Richardo – Billy

This is such a profound message of God for me now. I am struggling with something for quite a while now, and I feel as if everyday I am haunted by memories of my wrongdoings. But this message helps me get through another day. God is such a loving God, and although I feel unworthy of His love, He still tells me that He loves me, and He is always there for me. I am renewed every day, and I am trying hard to get back to where my life used to be. God’s love for me is infinite and boundless.

Thanks so much for sharing Jen. Remember, when God forgave your sin, He forgave everything. There is no need to beat yourself up for what God has already forgotten. There is nothing you can do to make Him love your more, or love you less. I’m praying for you. – Billy
