Today’s Promise

God’s Plans Will be Fulfilled

My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.
Isaiah 46:10

A World of Problems

When you look at all the problems the world is facing, it’s easy to let fear fill your heart. No matter how much nations talk, war often seems inevitable. Unknown pathogens, corruption, and crime make it easy to wonder if God is really in control.

Before creation began, God had a master plan for this universe. He didn’t just wind up creation like an old clock, then sit back to watch it run down.

From the beginning, God has been moving the world forward to His conclusion.

We may not understand why God allows one nation to prosper and another to fail. We can’t imagine why He allows evil empires to exist, but He is in control.

The Heart of a Ruler

Proverbs 21:1 says that God holds the king’s heart in His hand, and He directs it according to His will.

A ruler may have incredible power and seem to be in absolute control of his country, but God still controls his heart. God moves Him as needed to accomplish His plan. A leader may declare his independence from God, but that doesn’t stop God from working. Nothing happens in this world that God has not given His stamp of approval.

God is in Control

Nothing happens in your life that God hasn’t approved. Just as God accomplishes His master plan in the world, He is accomplishing His master plan in you. You may not see it, but God is fulfilling His perfect will for you. He takes pleasure in bringing about His good plan in your life.

If your heart is full of fear or worries about the future, relax; God has things under control. If you are overwhelmed by the direction the world seems to be going, remember God is fulfilling His master plan for creation.

If you have fear and doubts about your future, remember, God is accomplishing His master plan in your life.

Look at that verse again.

My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure. – Isaiah 46:10

Make these confessions.

  • God is working in the world to accomplish His good will.
  • God is working in my life to accomplish his good will in me.
  • I will not fear because God is in control.
  • I confess my dependence on Him so that He can fulfill His master plan in my life.

In Jesus Name
Amen

You don’t always see God’s hand working. Often He works in the background both in the world and in your life to bring about His good will. You can leave your fear and worry behind because God is in control.

I have a lot of fear over this latest vaccine mandate. It was such a shock yesterday and I can’t quit thinking about it.

I too feel the same way.
My friend sent me this Daily Promise this morning and it puts things back in perspective. No matter what Biden does or any President, God is in control of their heart and everything else. We don’t see the whole picture like Gid does. We’re looking from a small view and no matter what, this is all leading to his perfect plan to be accomplished. We just don’t know or understand what that is right now but there’s a reason God is allowing these things. Praying for you and our country Eric.
