Today’s Promise

Jesus Gives Eternal Life

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 5:24

Eternal Life

Jesus promises eternal life to everyone who will put their faith in Him as savior and lord.

Eternal life is the greatest promise in the Bible. It was this promise that compelled early Christians to share the “Good News of the Gospel” to the then known world. This promise has empowered Christians throughout history to give their lives for the sake of the Gospel. It is this promise that brings peace and satisfaction into your heart today.

No Fear of Death

As a Christian, you have no fear of death. You know that when you close your eyes in death, you will open them in the presence of God. He will welcome you into heaven, and you’ll spend eternity in His Presence.

Jesus came to give eternal life to those who place their trust in Him. Eternal life is the final fulfillment of His promise of abundant life. Eternal life is the eternal, abundant life.

Jesus Make Paid for Your Sin

Every person is separated from God because of their sin. Every person will stand before God and give an account of their life. You will either pay the penalty for your sin, separated from God for all eternity or by faith, allow Christ to make payment for you. His death on the cross brought forgiveness of your sin and restoration of your relationship with God. His death made way for you to have eternal life.

In Jesus Christ, you have passed from death into life. Eternal life with God, in Christ.

Let’s review that verse again.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life. – John 5:24

Make these confessions:

  • Because I have faith in Christ, I have eternal life.
  • I have passed from death to life.
  • I have no fear of death because I know I have eternal life.
  • When I die, I will spend eternity with the Lord and enjoy all the wonders of heaven.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As a Christian, you don’t fear death because you know it is the last step to experiencing the eternal, abundant life Jesus promised.

Jesus always set an example of life. He himself died on the cross and was resurrected. Showing us exactly what will happen to those that believe in Him. Jesus shows us time and time again how we should live our lives and how we should pray and what’s most important. Everything I have had to walk through Jesus did it first. And I am so grateful and I am so excited for the days to come to be a good shepherd like my friend Jesus. And hear Him tell me well-done good and faithful servant ??
