Today’s Promise

You are Dead to Sin, But Alive in Christ

Romans 6:11

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Dead in Sin

Paul tells us to remember and count it as fact that we are dead to sin and alive to Christ.

Before you came to Christ, you were a slave to your sin. Sin had complete control over you. You were in bondage to your own passions and desires.

When you came to Christ in faith, you died to your old life. The power of sin was broken, and you were freed from its penalty and control.

Free From Sin

Dead people have no issues with sin. Dead people don’t have to deal with pride, gossip, lust, or fear. They are literally dead to all these things.

Paul is not suggesting you act like you are dead, or commanding you feel like you are dead, or even to become dead. Paul is reminding you of the fact that you are dead. Your old life has died, and your past makes no difference.

This is such a fundamental truth. Until you see with your spiritual eyes that you are dead to sin, you will always struggle with sin.

Alive in Christ

You are not only dead to sin, but you are alive to Christ. When Christ rose from the dead, you rose to new life with Him. You are not who you used to be. Now you are a child of the Living God. A citizen in the Kingdom of God, and you live in the power of Christ in you.

You have been raised into a new life of fellowship with Christ. Your eternal life began the moment you placed your faith in Christ. You are living the eternal life now. When you go to heaven, it’s just a location change.

Because you are alive in Christ, the Holy Spirit empowers you to live the resurrected life. You live above the dead and dying world around you. As one living among the dead, you bring life and light to the world.

Sin once enslaved you, but now you live in the new life Christ has given you. Free from the power and penalty of sin, and alive to the God who loves you so much.

Look at that promise again.

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. – Romans 6:11

Make these confessions.

  • I am dead to my sin and my sin nature.
  • As a dead person, sin no longer has power over me.
  • I am not the old person I used to be.
  • I am alive in Christ and walk as a new person in Him.

In Jesus name,
Amen

God says you are dead to your sin and your old life. The good news is you are also alive to God in Christ.

I prayed and thank Father, for the man who will love Father with all his heart, mind, soul and strength, and love his neighbors has he love himself; with not being a selfish man in his own heart, mind, soul or in his own strength or Its “I”, instead “We, Us, Together.
I prayed for the man to work with all the nine gifts of FRUITS of Father’s Spirit, I ask Father to give him Wisdom Instead of riches, I ask Father to show him all truth with Father Holy Spirit to lead this Country and other’s, to always let his Yay be Yay, and Nay be Nay, meaning let his Yes be Yes, and His No be No, let his answer every question with every Word he has stored in his heart from Father Word without waving. One who fear our LORD, one who not ashamed to stand for true justice for all people. In Jesus Name AMEN.

I’ve been fervently praying for months. The evil one has gained so much territory and I know my Lord and Savior can send him back to the pit with one breath. I’ve confessed that we have been sinful and have asked for his mercy upon or nation and that he would lift the veil of deceit from our ears, eyes, minds and hearts. Only God knows the whole truth.

Please, let’s pray that there will be no bloodshed, not one drop.

Every day I pray for his people to rise up to praise and glorify Him.

Thank you, Billy, for your Daily Promises. They feed my soul.

I am praying that God’s will be done in this election. Furthermore, God wants His children to depend on Him and Him only. Ever since I have accepted Christ Jesus as my Savior the will of the Holy Trinty is all that matters in life for believers. We are loved so much by the Father, Creator of every living thing on this earth, and I emphasize in prominence, that we really have no understanding of the magnitude of His love. In conclusion, GOD IS LOVE AND I PRAY, I KNOW THAT HIS WILL PREVAILS ON THE WORLD UNTIL CHRIST RETURNS. We must stay prayed up and have continued FAITH in the will of GOD.

Peace, unto this country, and the entire world.
