You Can do all Things Through Christ
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
All Things Through Christ
As a follower of Christ, you have His power working in you to overcome any challenge you face.
Have you ever felt like you were climbing a never-ending hill? Have you felt like no matter how hard you tried, the rest of the world was pushing against you? Maybe you have felt overwhelmed and just didn’t think you could make it through.
I know I have. When I’ve felt like giving up and didn’t think I could make it, I quoted this promise again and again.
Through Christ’s strength, you can face and overcome any challenge that comes into your life.
The Apostle Paul
The Apostle Paul experienced more than his share of problems and difficulties. The religious leaders of his day hated him. They beat, whipped, and imprisoned him. They even had a crowd try to stone him to death. However, Paul was always faithful to God’s call on his life. He understood Christ would give him strength.
Even while sitting in a filthy Roman prison cell, facing an unknown future, Paul proclaimed he could do all things with Christ’s help. He knew that Christ would give him the strength to overcome any difficulty he might face.
God All Strengthen You
No matter what problem or difficulty you are going through right now, God will strengthen you. He promises supernatural empowerment to face your greatest struggle.
Maybe God has called you to a ministry or to serve in a way you don’t think you can handle, remember, He equips those He calls. He will give strengthen and empower you to face every challenge.
When you fail and feel like giving up, remember Christ is in you, giving you the power, guidance, and strength to overcome.
This promise doesn’t say you can do some things, but you can do all things through the power of Christ in you.
When you feel like you are climbing that enormous mountain in your life, remember Christ is strengthening you, and you may be inches away from the crest of the hill.
Let’s look at this promise one more time.

I’am a woman of many sorrows through out my life. I have found no peace because I failed drastically in all I have tried to do . Due this I have broken millions of promises and owing a lot. I’m despised and treated as a cast out any where I find myself. So I have become very depressed and on treatment with a psychiatrist and on antidepressant drugs., I love God so much and want to do His will but circumstances beyond my control drifts me into disobeying God at times.. I always feel so sorry after any bad choice and ask for mercy and forgiveness.
I testify that it is PHILIPPIANS : 4:13 “” I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME” that has kept me alive today to be reading your beautiful and inspiring and very encouraging message., With the manner you have thrown light on this verse, I believe will even strengthen me in the loss of my dear mom by a mistake of a doctor who she only walked in for check up and died that same day in my presence a shocking experience and three months ago. I never knew I can be strong enough to do what I’m doing now. Thank God for His mercy and Grace upon my life and how far this Scripture has helped me.
Glory to God most high??
Roselyn,
I am so sorry to hear of all you have gone through. However, if you have given your life to Christ, your past has been forgiven and you are new in Him. You don’t have to carry the weight of your past sins and mistakes, Christ has taken them all. Forgiving others and forgiving your self is the beginning point of walking in peace. – Billy
