Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – The Harvest Will Come
We began the week by seeing that if we are faithful to do what God has called us to do, we will see a harvest in due time. God is faithful to take the seeds we plant and grow them into a harvest of blessings.
Here’s the promise.
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. – Galatians 6:9 (NASB)
Make these confessions.
- I will not lose heart.
- I will continue to plant the seeds God has given me.
- I may not see it yet, but the harvest is coming.
- I will not grow weary, and I will not give up.
- God is growing the seeds I plant.
- I will be faithful until I see the harvest God brings.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Remember, the harvest comes to those who faithfully plant God’s seed every day.
Tuesday – I Will Plant You by Streams of Living Water
On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that as we make God’s Word a priority in our life, we become like a tree planted by streams of water. When the droughts of life come, we will be fruitful and secure.
Here’s the promise.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. – Psalm 1:2-3
Make these confessions.
- God has planted me firmly by streams of water.
- His spirit is refreshing and empowering me.
- His Word is cleansing me.
- In times of stress and drought, I have refreshing living water.
- I overflow with living water to the world around me.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Today, as we plant our lives in the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will fill us with His refreshing living water.
Wednesday – Walk by Faith, not by Sight
Midway through the week, we committed to walking by faith and not by sight. We don’t trust the world around us but look to the invisible, eternal world as our focus in life and strength.
Here’s the promise.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. – 2 Corinthians 5:7
Make these confessions.
- I live by faith and not by sight.
- My focus is on the invisible kingdom of God.
- I am trusting that what God has said, He will do.
- I am listening for His voice and walking in obedience to Him today.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Today, we have a choice. We can live by faith and God’s Word or by what we see. I am praying we live by faith.
Thursday – No Longer a Slave to Sin
On Thursday, we celebrated the promise that we are no longer slaves to sin but live free in the new life Christ has given us. Our old self has died, and we have a new life in Christ.
Here’s the promise.
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. – Roman 6:6-7
Make these confessions.
- In Jesus Christ, I am dead to sin.
- Sin no longer has power over me.
- I am free from the penalty and power of sin.
- My old self is dead, and my new self walks in obedience to Christ.
- Jesus has set me free from sin.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
Remember, our old self is dead, and we are alive in Christ. We are no longer slaves to sin. We live in the freedom Christ has provided.
Friday – God’s Grace is Enough for You
We ended the week with the promise that God’s grace is enough for our every need. No matter what we are going through, God’s grace is enough. Our weaknesses reveal His power.
Here’s the promise.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
Make these confessions.
- I have God’s grace working in my life.
- His grace gives me strength, power, and comfort.
- No matter what I face, God’s grace is enough for me.
- I can face any situation because God’s grace is working in my life.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
When you feel overwhelmed by problems and can’t go on, remember God’s grace is enough.
That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.

2 Corinthians 12:9
This was point on with me. I am homeless now. I was living with my daughter and her young son. So now we are all homeless. We don’t have much money and was already struggling. My daughter and I tell each other don’t worry because God gave us grace and mercy and will help us. I am 62 and disabled. I always say I’m blessed and I am. I trust and believe God will see us through this.
Thanks for your comments. I am praying for you, your daughter and son. I know God will take care of you. – Billy
