God Will Strengthen Your Inner Person
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.
Ephesians 3:16
Are you facing some stress-filled days? Today’s promise is for you.
No matter what you face today, God promises to strengthen and empower you through the Holy Spirit. In this verse, Paul directs this prayer to the church in Ephesus, but the same promise applies to you and me today.
Your Inner Person
Paul was not talking about physical strength but inner strength. Real strength begins in your heart and works its way out into your life. The word “strength” here means the power to act, endure, or resist. So often, we give up because we lose heart more than we are physically tired. God gives you supernatural strength to face any and every challenge before you today.
What is the source of that strength? It comes from the Holy Spirit in you. When you need strength, encouragement, or power, the Holy Spirit taps the unlimited riches of God to empower you. Just as Jesus never faced a problem where His glory, grace, and power were not more than enough, those same riches are available to you today. You will never deplete His power and grace. You have access to a never-ending source of strength.
Are you feeling overwhelmed? You have His power within you.
Are you worried about your job or future? He is strengthening your heart.
Have you lost hope? God is renewing your inner person so you can keep moving forward.
Do you feel like giving up? Christ in you is giving you new strength, hope, and faith.
The very power of Christ is flowing through you. His Holy Spirit will give you the strength and determination you never thought possible.
Look at that promise one more time.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being. – Ephesians 3:16
Make these confessions.
- God is strengthening my inner being today.
- God’s power and grace are my sources of strength.
- The Holy Spirit empowers me today.
- I am strong because Christ gives me His strength.
- I will not give up or give in because I have the power of Christ in me.
In Jesus’ Name.

The timing of this lesson is perfect! I have been encouraging our SS class to be proactive about their going out and sharing their testimony of what God has done in their lives. It’s not easy for some people to speak in public, but I reminded them that God is their strength, and all things are possible with Him!!

No matter what difficulties that I face I don’t have to face them alone. Jesus said that He would never leave me or forsake me.
When I am weak He is strong. I can do all things threw Christ who strengthen s me.
Nothing can separate me from the love of God. When I need strength He strengthens me. When I need courage He gives me courage. I listen, I trust, and I obey. If I fall He is there to pick me up.
He is a good good father!!! He showed His love for us when He sent His son to die for our sins so that we could have eternal life!!!
