Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – God Will Guide Secure Your Steps
We began the week by seeing how God secures our steps. When you are out of your comfort zone, and way out on a limb, God will not let you fall. He guides and secures your every step.
Here’s the promise.
He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. – 2 Samuel 22:34
Make these confessions.
- When I feel I am out on a limb, God secures my steps.
- He sets my feet on stable ground.
- I will not worry, for He will keep me from falling.
- God is leading me to new heights in Him.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Today, climb up to all God has called you to. Don’t worry about falling or failure because God will secure your steps and keep you from falling.
Tuesday – Tuesday – Your Sins White as Snow
On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that we are forgiven and cleansed by the blood of Christ. He invites us to bring our sins to Him, and He will make us white as snow.
Here’s the promise.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. – Isaiah 1:18
Make these confessions.
- God invites me to bring my sins to Him.
- As I come to God, I find cleansing of my sin.
- God forgives my sin and makes my heart pure again.
- No matter how dark my sin is, God can make it as white as snow.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Instead of running from God when you sin, come to Him with your sin. He will forgive your sin and cleanse your heart.
Wednesday – Jesus is With You
Midway through the week, we celebrated the promise that God is always with us. Through the Holy Spirit in us, Jesus is with us wherever we may go.
Here’s the promise.
Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20
Make these confessions.
- No matter where I go, Jesus is with me.
- He empowers me to accomplish everything He commands.
- His presence is with me and in me.
- The Holy Spirit empowers, guides, and comforts me.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
As you go through your day, remember, through the Holy Spirit, Jesus is with you. Rest in His presence and trust His guidance.
Thursday – Open My Spiritual Eyes
On Thursday, we saw how God has promised to open our spiritual eyes. Before we came to Christ, we were blind to spiritual truth. Now, through faith in Him, our eyes are open to all God has for us.
Here’s the promise.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. – Ephesians 1:18-19
Make these confessions.
- God is opening my eyes to the hope I have in Christ.
- I am part of the inheritance of the saints.
- God is pouring His incredible power on me.
- Every day God is opening my eyes to all He has for me.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
As you grow in your walk with God, I pray He opens your spiritual eyes to a deeper understanding of who He is and how He is working in your life.
Friday – You Are Strong in the Lord
We ended the week with the promise that we are strong in the Lord’s power. Christ has already provided all the strength we will ever need. When we draw on His strength, we find new power for the day’s problems.
Here’s the promise.
Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10
Make these confessions.
- In Jesus Christ, I am strong.
- I will not be defeated by any attack of Satan.
- I am empowered as I draw upon the strength of the Lord.
- God’s power in me gives victory over every enemy.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
In Christ, you are strong. You find strength as you draw on God’s power within you. It’s not a one-time thing but a continual tapping into the power God provides every moment of every day.
That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.

Thank You Lord for all you do for us: You lead us, cleanse us, stay with us, enlighten us, and strengthen us. What a Savior you are.
