Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – God Delivers You From Spiritual Attack
We began the week with the promise that God would deliver us from every enemy that comes against us. He will be our stronghold and protector.
Here’s the promise.
The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. – Psalm 37:39-40
Make these confessions.
- My salvation comes only from the Lord.
- I take refuge in the Name of the Lord.
- When I face a spiritual attack, He delivers me from the enemy’s hand.
- I am safe and secure because God is my protection.
- In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
In the heat of the battle, God provides a refuge and stronghold. Run to Him to find safety and protection.
Tuesday – Your Heavenly Crown
On Tuesday, we were reminded that God rewards those who faithfully serve Him. Those who faithfully minister as He leads will receive a crown of glory.
Here’s the promise.
And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. – 1 Peter 5:4
Make these confessions.
- God will reward my service to Him and the body of Christ.
- When Jesus returns, I will receive my reward.
- I am storing up my rewards in heaven.
- One day I will wear a crown of glory.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
When Christ returns, those faithful to minister to others will receive a crown of glory. That crown will never fade and will last for all eternity.
Wednesday – Draw Close to God, He Draws Close to You
Midway through the week, we celebrated the promise that when we draw close to God, He draws close to us. He will always welcome us with open arms when we return to Him.
Here’s the promise.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. – James 4:8
Make these confessions.
- God is always ready and waiting to welcome me back into His presence.
- I can’t keep my sin and walk in His presence.
- I cannot be double-minded and draw close to God.
- When I draw close to God, He draws close to me.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
No matter how far away we are from God, He draws near to you when you draw near to Him.
Thursday – Your Worship Pleases God
On Thursday, we learned that God is pleased when we worship Him in spirit and truth. Worshipping in spirit and truth is worshipping God through the name of Jesus with an open and honest heart before Him.
Here’s the promise.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. – John 4:24
Make these confessions.
- I can worship God wherever I am.
- I worship the Lord through the name of Jesus.
- When I worship, my heart focuses on God.
- God accepts my worship when I worship Him with an honest and sincere heart.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
As a follower of Christ, you know that when you come to God in prayer or worship, you must come in spirit and in truth.
Friday – All Things are Possible Through Faith
We ended the week seeing that through faith, all things are possible. As we live and pray in faith, we see God move on our behalf.
Here’s the promise.
And Jesus said to him,” ‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.” – Mark 9:23
Make these confessions.
God wants to do more in me and through me than I can imagine.
- Nothing is impossible when I put my faith in Christ.
- When I pray in faith, God answers.
- Father, grow my faith in you.
- Today, I walk and pray with faith in Christ.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
When you pray in faith, it opens new possibilities. Praying in faith moves you from praying little prayers to a little God to praying big prayers to a great God.
That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.

Let’s pray big prayers to our great God with thanksgiving.
