Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – Your Sin is Removed
We began the week with the promise that God had removed our sin. He has placed it as far as the east is to the west.
Here’s the promise.
As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. – Psalm 103:12
Make these confessions.
- In Jesus Christ, my sins have been removed.
- My sin is as far from me as the east is from the west.
- I no longer live in shame or guilt.
- Jesus has forgiven and removed my sin.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
When Jesus died on the cross, He took on your sin. Your sin is no longer your own. God removed it as far as the east is from the west.
Tuesday – God Will Never Leave or Forsake You
On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that God will never leave or forsake us. We all have experienced the pain of someone turning their back on us. When you feel the world has forsaken you, run to the One who has promised never to leave you.
Here’s the promise.
Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. – Hebrews 13:5
Make these confessions.
- God will never leave or forsake me.
- God can use me because He is with me.
- No matter what I do, God will never forsake me.
- I am never alone because God is with me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
When everyone else has turned their backs on you, God has promised never to leave or forsake you. He will be there when everyone else is gone.
Wednesday – Trust God, and Don’t be Afraid
Midway through the week, we learned that we can overcome fear by trusting the Lord. He has promised to be our salvation.
Here’s the promise.
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. – Isaiah 12:2
Make these confessions.
- I will not fear because God is my salvation.
- The more I trust in Him, the less I live in fear.
- Jesus is my salvation.
- All I need I find in Him.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
Remember, to overcome fear, focus on building your faith.
Thursday – God’s Grace Overflows to You
On Thursday, we celebrated God’s grace in our lives. God’s grace is his unmerited favor and blessing. His grace is always more than enough for any problem you may face. You will never deplete the incredible grace He is pouring over you.
Here’s the promise.
And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8
Make these confessions.
- God pours His grace on me today.
- Because of His grace, I have everything I need.
- I overflow with good work today.
- God’s grace is flowing through me to meet the needs around me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
God’s favor and blessings are flowing over you today. He empowers you with everything you need to bless those around you through His grace working in your life.
Friday – God Helps You Make Wise Choices
We ended the week with the promise that as we submit our lives to God, He helps us make wise choices. Wise choices are the pathways to successful living.
Here’s the promise.
Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. – Psalm 25:12
Make these confessions.
- As I fear the Lord, He directs my path.
- He gives me wisdom for the choices I make today.
- Wise choices make successful paths.
- God gives me wisdom and direction as I learn to fear Him.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
When you fear the Lord, God promises to lead and guide you through life’s big and small decisions.
That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
