God Will Complete His Work in You
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6
God is Working
God is working in your life to make you more like Jesus. He will continue His work in your life until you see Him face to face.
Even though you may not realize it, God is always working in your life. It’s easy to think the Christian life is all about what you need to do. You need to spend more time in Bible study. You need to pray more. You need to share your faith. You need to be more sensitive to the needs of others, and the list goes on and on and on. However, the Christian life is really about God working in you.
If you were to look back on your walk with God, I’m sure you would see God working in your life, time and time again. There were times when you drifted away from Him, and He used a situation or a person to bring you back to Himself. There was a financial need He met at the very last minute. Even during your most challenging times, God was working in your life.
Jesus Won’t Give up
If God has done all this for you, do you really think He will give up on you now?
Some translations begin this verse with, “Since I am confident….” Paul was absolutely confident that God would complete His work in the lives of the Christians in Philippi.
I am absolutely confident that God will finish His work in you as well.
Right now, God is doing a good work in your life. You may not understand it or see it, but every day God is working to make you more like Jesus. Even when you resist Him, He continues to work behind the scenes to bring you back into full fellowship with Him.
The word “perform” means to carry through. God will keep working until you are complete in Him. He is not about to give up on you. He will keep working in you until you are mature in Christ.
Look at that promise again.

Make these confessions:
- What Jesus began in my life, He will complete.
- Every day He is working to make me more like Himself.
- He has brought me this far and is not going to quit on me now.
- I am confident that He will complete His work in me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
God is working in you, day by day, to make you more like Jesus. He will not quit until you are mature in Christ and you see Him face to face.

How have you seen God working in your life? (Share your answer in the comment section below)
There are many ways I have seen God work in my life. He always brings someone in my life that has been an inspiration or role model or sometimes it’s just reading an article with a message I’m suppose to hear. He sends inspiration in many ways. Nature is another way. He’s always there for us 🙏
God has been working in my life by giving me a burden for the elderly people. Our church started going into elderly people’s homes nd praying with them’. Praise the name of Jesus!
It seems God puts challenges, opportunities, and trials in my life that cause me to seek Him and His will and to make me look to Him for guidance, strength, and help,
