God Will Do a New Work in Me
Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19
Happy New Year. I pray this year is filled with the blessings and favor of God.
If you are like me, I am thankful for all God did in 2024, but I look forward to all God will do in 2025.
Aren’t you glad you serve the God of new beginnings? Every 24 hours, He gives us a new day. Every 365 days, He gives you a new year.
God’s New Work in You
Each new year, God gives us a chance to start anew. No matter what last year was like, we can pick up a new calendar and start afresh.
God also wants to do something new in you.
Here’s today’s promise.
Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19
New beginnings remind us to leave behind the past and move forward to what God has before us. No matter what yesterday was like for you, you get a fresh start tomorrow.
Are you ready for God to do something new in you? Are you ready to seek Him in new ways? Are you stepping out into new areas of faith to trust God for new blessings? Are you ready for God to lead you into things you’ve never experienced before?
The God of new beginnings wants to do a new thing in your life today.
He wants to;
Put a new song in your heart. (Psalm 40:5)
Give you a new heart. (Ezekiel 11:19)
Restore your health and heal your wounds. (Jeremiah 30:17)
Give you a new life. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Give you a new self. (Ephesians 4:22-24)
As we begin this new year, God wants to do more in your life than you can ever imagine. He wants to grow your faith, deepen your love, and work through you as never before.
If you are facing a wilderness, God will lead you through the desert. In the desert, His Spirit will provide streams of refreshment for you.
God wants to do a new thing in your life right now. If you let Him, this year can be the beginning of a new and deeper walk with Jesus.
Look at that promise again.
Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19
Make these confessions.
- My God is the God of new beginnings.
- He is doing a new work in my life.
- Father, thank you for all you will do in the days to come.
- I give you this year for Your glory.

GOD is soooooooooo gooooooood. He is never boring, because He’s alive and very real and very involved in my life. I’m believing for family salvation and restoration. Also a deeper walk with my LORD. A revival , a revolution of light, for God’s people to wake up and know who they are in Christ and to take their place in the Army of God. For with God nothing is impossible.
