Review Saturday
This Week’s Scriptures
1 Corinthians 15:57 | Galatians 3:26 | Proverbs 15:8 | Jeremiah 29:13 | Romans 5:1
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise.
Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.
We began the week celebrating our victory in Christ.
Here’s Monday’s promise.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Corinthians 15:57
Make this confession.
I have victory in every situation through Christ.
Sometimes God fixes the problem, and sometimes He fixes me in the problem.
God uses endurance to build my faith.
Thank you, Jesus, for giving me victory today.
In Jesus name,
Amen
On Tuesday, we talked about how God is our father, and we are His children.
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. – Galatians 3:26
Make this confession.
I am a child of God.
God is my Father.
I can come boldly before Him in prayer.
He calls me son and I call him Father.
In Jesus Name.
Amen
Midway through the week, we saw how God not only welcomes our prayers but take great delight in them.
Here’s the Promise.
The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is His delight. – Proverbs 15:8
Make this confession.
God is delighted when I pray.
He takes great joy in my prayer.
I will not come to Him in fear or shame.
He invites me to sit in His lap and share my heart.
In Jesus name,
Amen
On Thursday, we celebrated that when we seek after God, we have the promise that we will find Him.
Here’s the promise.
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. – Jeremiah 29:13
Confess this with me.
God is not hiding from me.
When I seek Him, I find Him.
He reveals Himself to me when I seek Him with all my heart.
I am seeking Him today, so I can know and enjoy Him more.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
We ended the week; we saw that through faith in Christ, we have peace with God.
Here’s the promise.
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. – Romans 5:1
Make this confession
Through faith in Christ, I have peace with God.
My sin has been paid through the blood of Jesus.
Since I have peace with God, I have peace with my past.
The peace of Christ flows into every area of my life.
In Jesus name,
Amen
That’s it for this week. I hope these 5 promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.
