Review Saturday
This Week’s Scriptures
Hebrews 6:19 | Romans 8:13 | 2 Corinthians 5:6 | Hebrews 6:6-7 | 2 Chronicles 16:9
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise.
Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.
We began the week seeing how God is your steadfast anchor.
When the storm comes, He keeps you from being tossed about by the waves and seas.
Here’s the promise.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil. – Hebrews 6:19
Make this confession.
Jesus is my sure anchor.
He keeps me safe and sound.
When the wind blows, and the storm rises, He is my security.
Jesus is my eternal security and hope for all eternity.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
On Tuesday, we celebrated the fact that you are led by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit leads you, guides you, and speaks to you on a regular basis.
Here’s the promise.
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. – Romans 8:13
Make this confession.
As a child of God, the Holy Spirit leads me.
The Holy Spirit speaks in a still small voice.
The Holy Spirit leads me one step at a time.
The more I listen for His voice, the more He leads me through the day.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Midway through the week, you confessed that you walk by faith and not by sight.
As a growing Christian, you walk by faith. You put your focus on the eternal unseen world, not the seen temporal world around you.
Here’s the promise.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. – 2 Corinthians 5:6
Confess this with me.
I live by faith and not by sight.
My focus is on the invisible kingdom of God, not what I see and touch.
I am trusting that what God has said, He will do.
I am listening for His voice and walking in obedience to Him today.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
On Thursday saw how you are no longer a slave to sin.
God broke the power of sin over you and has given you a new nature that longs to walk in obedience to Him.
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. – Romans 6:6-7
Confess this with me.
In Jesus Christ, I am dead to sin.
Sin no longer has power over me.
I am set free from the penalty and power of sin.
My old self is dead, and my new self is alive and desires to please God.
Jesus has set me free from sin.
In Jesus name,
Amen
On Friday we saw how God is seeking you out as your heart is fully His, so He can bless, strengthen, and support you.
Here’s the promise.
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. – 2 Chronicles 16:9
Make this confession.
As a follower of Christ, God is my strong support.
He is on my side.
I will never be overlooked or forgotten.
God is standing with me to protect and provide for me.
In Jesus name,
Amen
That’s it for this week. I hope these 5 promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.
While you are at church tomorrow, tell someone about The Daily Promise. Help me encourage more Christians with the promises in God’s word. Also, take a moment to pray for me and this ministry.
Was one of these promises particularly meaningful to you? Share it with us in the comments below.
Hello, good morning. Thank you again, for these devotionals, they’re a always a blessing to me and my family.
Allow me to bring to your attention, that, the words written for the devotionals do not match the recorded portion of the devotionals. My wife and I were listening to the audio and following along to the words, but they did not match up; totally different.
Just a heads- up, for you all.
Thanks again and God bless.
Thanks for letting me know Richard. When it first went out there was an error in the coding. Hopefully, you went back and checked it later. Sorry for the inconvenience. Glad you were still able to read the post.
It is truly a blessing to have the daily promised everyday sent to me. The Saturday review was different than the audio so I just read the Saturday review. It was an easy fix to read it instead of listening to it.
God bless you for your ministry.

Hello! Thank you, Bill Taylor for this wonderful ministry of sharing God’s promises throughout the week and for encouraging us to gather together and worship on Sundays, as well. I am saying a prayer, even now, of encouragement and strength for you, and for this ministry to continue to reach people all over the world. Praise You Father for Your love, faithfulness, and holiness. Thank You, Lord for Bill Taylor. Bless him one hundred fold for his loyalty to Your call on his life to share the promises of Your holy Word each week. In Jesus Name! Amen!
Cindy, Thanks so much for your prayers. Keep praying for me and the ministry.
