This Week’s Scriptures
Isaiah 1:18 | Psalm 118:29 | Matthew 28:19-20 | Ephesians 1:18-19 | Revelation 21:4
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise.
Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.
We began the week celebrating the fact that our sins have been forgiven and made as white as snow.
Here’s the promise.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. – Isaiah 1:18
Confess this with me.
- God invites me to come to Him with my sin.
- God not only forgives my sin but makes my heart pure again.
- As I come to God, I can find cleansing of my sin.
- No matter how dark my sin is, God can make it as white as snow.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
On Tuesday, we celebrated the first anniversary of The Daily Promise. What an incredible year of sharing the promises of God. We looked at a wonderful promise of praise and thankfulness.
Here’s the promise.
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. – Psalm 118:29
Make this confession.
- Thank you, Lord, for all the blessings you have given me.
- Thank you for your goodness and promise.
- Thank you for caring for me in ways I never see.
- Thank you, Father, that your love for me will never end.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Midway through the week, we claimed the promise that no matter where we go, Jesus is with us.
Here’s the promise.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20
Confess this with me.
- No matter where I go, Jesus is with me.
- He empowers me to accomplish everything He commands.
- His presence is with me and in me.
- Through the Holy Spirit, He empowers, guides, and comforts me.
- He will be with me until I see Him face to face.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
On Thursday, we saw that our spiritual eyes are open so we can see the hope of our calling, the riches of His glory, and the surpassing greatness of His power toward you and me.
Here’s the promise.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. – Ephesians 1:18-19
Confess this with me.
- God is opening my eyes to the hope I have in Christ.
- I am part of the inheritance of the saints.
- God pours out His abundant power on me.
- Every day God is opening my eyes to all He has for me.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
We ended the week looking forward to the day we see Jesus face to face, and he will wipe away every tear, sorrow, regret, and pain.
Here’s the promise.
And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. – Revelation 21:4
Make this confession with me.
- A day is coming when God will establish His kingdom on earth.
- He will remove all sorry, regret, and sadness.
- God will wipe away my every tear.
- I will spend eternity in unhindered fellowship with Christ.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
That’s it for this week. I hope these five promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His Word.
Take a moment and share one of these promises with a friend. We all need an encouraging word from God’s Word.

My favorite this week:
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. – Psalm 118:29
Thanking and praising Him for His goodness, mercy and loving kindness!!
Thank you, Billy, for reminding us of all of these great promises from God. My favorite is from day five, Jesus wipes away every tear. I look forward to that glorious day when I can be face to face with our Savior. ♥️
