Today’s Promise
God’s Favor Lasts a Lifetime
Psalm 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
God’s Favor is On You
God’s favor is flowing over you today. As His child, you will never outlive His grace and favor working in your life.
As a follower of Christ, you live in the favor of God. God’s favor is His supernatural blessing and kindness toward you. The New Testament version of favor is “grace.”
What is God’s Favor?
God’s favor gives you the ability to be and do things you could never do on your own. His favor invites you to come boldly into His presence and fellowship with Him. Because of His favor, you know your prayers are heard and answers.
God pours out His favor on all His children. His favor provides for your every need. Every blessing of God is evidence of His favor. You can’t earn His favor; it is a gift of grace.
God’s Favor is Sometimes Hard to Accept
Many of us have a hard time accepting the favor of God. We feel unworthy of God’s favor. The truth is, we are. No one is worthy of God’s grace. No matter how hard you might try, you could never be good enough for God’s favor.
One of the most amazing aspects of God’s favor is found right in the middle of today’s verse. God’s favor lasts a lifetime.
God’s Favor is Forever
God’s favor is not for a moment or for an hour. God’s favor is forever. You will never run out of God’s favor. Every morning is a reminder that God’s favor is flowing over you.
Sure, there may be difficult times, but knowing that God’s favor lasts a lifetime is a reminder that even during the hard times, God’s favor is flowing over you.
Take a few moments today and celebrate God’s favor on you. As His child, you walk in the favor and grace of God today. Even if you were to live over one hundred years old, God’s favor would still rest on you, and His grace will still bring His blessing every day.
Look at that promise again.
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. – Psalm 30:5
Make these confessions.
- I live in the favor of God.
- God’s favor toward me is renewed every morning.
- I don’t deserve His favor, but He pours it out on me every day.
- I will never outlive God’s favor on me.
- Every blessing is evidence of God’s favor in my life.
In Jesus name,
Amen

Stay True and Faithful in our God, he is always there with you. He has always been there for me, have faith and trust that he will see things through.
There are things which have happened in my life and I just know God’s favor that I even deserve sometimes
Yes… sometimes I feel I don’t deserve God’s favor because I haven’t been a good Christian; perhaps I didn’t spend enough time with God or I didn’t read my bible long enough. I feel guilty and think God’s favor will not be on me for a particular day or so.
When I first received Christ, I spent years ashamed of my past. In those times, I grew close with God and spent a lot of time reading the Bible. I was reminded often that there is no condemnation in Christ. He already forgave my sins when I accepted Jesus as Lord of my life. It was time to truly live in the grace, love and forgiveness that He extended. His blessings and favor I see in my life are a testimony to His goodness. I don’t live ashamed anymore… I live amazed and in awe of the favor and grace of God that saved a wretch like me. Hallelujah
I know I’m a sinner, but my father in heaven loves me and I am his child. I belong to him I trust in him . Willing and able to learn to walk on the right path he plans for me to take
AMEN thank you Billy stay safe, bless u and your family.
God’s unmerited favor – what a blessing to be so loved by our Heavenly Father. I am undeserving but I am grateful that He still loves me despite my shortcomings and weaknesses. Thank you God! ❤️??
