Today’s Promise
I Give Thanks to the Lord
Psalm 118:29
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
We Are Blessed
All we have and all we are comes from the Lord. The Lord pours out His blessings on us each and every day. His goodness and commitment love for us never ends. We each enjoy more blessings than we ever deserve.
If you are like me, I can get so caught up in the stresses and problems of the day that I forget to be thankful for all the marvelous things in my life.
Being Thankful
When you take the time to be thankful, it changes everything. As you practice thankfulness, your ego is kept in check, and you remember just how blessed you are.
Today, you can be thankful. No matter what your situation, you are blessed by God.
Most of us live a lifestyle that the majority of the world’s population can only dream of living. On our worst day, we are better off than most of the world.
Don’t Miss the Blessing
If we aren’t careful, we can worry and fret about so many other things that we miss the blessings all around us.
You can give thanks today because God is good.
You can give thanks today because God is caring for you in ways beyond your knowledge.
You can give thanks today because His commitment love toward you is everlasting. He will never forget you and never leave you. Even when you feel all alone, God is there with you to teach, direct, and comfort you through the Holy Spirit.
Look at that verse again.
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. – Psalm 118:29
Make these confessions.
- Thank you, Lord, for all the blessings you have given me.
- Thank you for your goodness and promise.
- Thank you for caring for me in ways I never see.
- Thank you, Father, that your love for me will never end.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
On Sunday night, October 11, I am celebrating the 3rd anniversary of the National Prayer Room. I’d love to have us all together for the celebration, but in today’s world, it’s just not possible. Since we can’t all get together, we are celebrating virtually.
Join me at 7 PM as we remember how the ministry began, what God is doing, and announce a new vision for the ministry.
I’d like to know if you can join us online. Please RSVP and let me know if you can or can’t make it. I would really appreciate your letting me know.
Use this button to let me know if you can make it.
I promise it will be encouraging and inspiring.
As a way of saying thanks to those who RSVP, I’m giving away 50 signed copies of my book, “Praying for Your wife.” We will announce the 50 winners at the event.
