Today’s Promise
Angelic Warriors Protect Me
Psalm 34:7
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Angels?
Few people have ever seen an angel. Even in the Bible, there are only a few instances of an Angel manifesting itself. However, God promises that these unseen guardians surround you with supernatural protection. Every day, angelic forces are working on your behalf. They defeat demonic attacks, extinguish the fiery arrows of Satan, and protect you from unforeseen harm.
The Spiritual World
In 2 Kings 6, the king of Syria sent an army with horses and chariots to bring Elisha the prophet before him. When Elisha’s servant stepped outside the tent in the morning, he saw the army surrounding the city. The servant was filled with fear and went running to the prophet. He asked the prophet, “what shall they do?” Elisha was amazingly calm amid the situation. He told the servant not to be afraid. He asks the Lord to open the eyes of the servant. God answers his prayer, and the servant’s eyes are opened. He saw another army, this one with flaming chariots and angelic warriors stationed all along the mountain ridge. Elisha told his servant that those who are with them were more than those who are against them. God opened the spiritual eyes of the servant so he could see the spiritual reality around him.
Things haven’t changed. You may not see angels with your physical eyes, but you can rest assured, you are surrounded by an army of angels ready to come to your defense. You will never live in fear when you know an angelic army surrounds and protects you. There are more with you than against you.
Look at that promise once again.

Make these confessions.
- I may not see them, but God has stationed angels all around me.
- There are more with me than against me.
- I will not fear, knowing angels are defending me.
- Today, an angelic army surrounds and protects me.
