Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – God Will Fulfill Every Call on Your Life

We began the week, seeing that when God places a call on your life, He fulfills that call. What God began in your life, He will complete.

Here’s the promise.

The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. – 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Make these confessions.
  • My God is a faithful God.
  • What God begins in my life, He completes.
  • Even though I am sometimes unfaithful, God is always faithful.
  • Today, God is working to fulfill His call in my life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The God you serve is faithful. God never calls you without equipping you to fulfill His call. He will bring to pass every call He places on your life.

Tuesday – I Am Under Grace, Not the Law

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that we are no longer under the law but under grace. We are set free from the power of sin. God’s grace empowers us to live holy before the Lord.

Here’s the promise.

For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. – Romans 6:14

Make these confessions.
  • Sin is no longer my master.
  • Christ has set me free from the power of sin.
  • God’s grace gives me the power to live in freedom from sin.
  • I am no longer under the law but under the grace of God.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

In Christ, you are free from the power of sin. It is no longer your master. Today, you walk in victory, empowered by the grace of God.

Wednesday – Keep Knocking and the Door Will Open

Midway through the week, we learn to never give up in prayer. When we are persistent in prayer, God opens the doors of heaven and answers.

Here’s the promise.

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. – Luke 11:9-10

Make these confessions.
  • I know God is answering my prayer.
  • When I ask, seek, and knock, I receive, find, and doors are opened.
  • I will not give up in prayer but will continue to ask, seek, and knock.
  • I will pray until something happens.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Don’t give up in prayer. Keep seeking, asking, and knocking. God’s answer is just around the corner.

Thursday – I Live to Please the Lord

On Thursday, we made it our lifelong goal to please the Lord. Everything we do or say is measured against this one pursuit, that God is please in all we do.

Here’s the promise.

Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. – 2 Corinthians 5:9

Make these confessions.

  • My life goal is to please the Lord.
  • Every other goal is second to this one lifelong goal.
  • When life gets hard and I face difficulty, I will cling to this one goal.
  • I agree with the Apostle Paul that no matter what may happen, my goal is to please the Lord.

In Jesus name,
Amen

As you make your goal to please the Lord, you will be amazed at the change you will see in your life and your walk with the Lord.

Friday – God’s Plans Will be Fulfilled

We ended the week seeing that even when we don’t understand, God is still in control. We don’t have to live in fear or worry. Nothing happens in the world or in our lives that does not have the approval of God.

Here’s the promise.

My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure. – Isaiah 46:10

Make these confessions.
  • God is working in the world around me to accomplish His good will.
  • God is working in my life to accomplish his good will in me.
  • I will not fear because God is in control.
  • I confess my dependence on Him so that He can fulfill His master plan in my life.
  • In Jesus Name
    Amen

You don’t always see God’s hand working. Often He works in the background both in the world and in your life to bring about His good will. You can leave your fear and worry behind because God is in control.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.

Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
