I Have God’s Perfect Peace
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.
Isaiah 26:3
We Need God’s Peace
If we ever needed the peace of God to flow through our lives, it’s now. God promises His peace to everyone who trusts in Him.
God promises you perfect, supernatural peace that goes beyond your situation. A constant and lasting peace that is not affected by the world around you. It is an inward and outward peace that only comes from God. He gives you peace that is beyond understanding.
Peace is hard to come by these days. Spending just a few minutes online or watching the news can make you feel like the world is falling apart. It seems like everyone is stressed or upset about something these days.
But as you put your trust in the Lord, God will fill you with His perfect peace.
It’s Not About Your Situation
Perfect peace is not about your situation. It is the confidence that God is in control of your situation.
Perfect peace is the picture of a little baby sleeping in her mother’s arms in the middle of a noisy subway. There may be commotion and noise all around, but the baby sleeps contentedly, resting on her mother’s chest. She knows her mother will keep and protect her.
One translation begins this verse with, “You will guard him and keep in him in peace.” God not only gives us his perfect peace. He guards and protects that peace.
There are two conditions to this promise.
First, you must keep your mind stayed on Him. So often, we set our focus on our problems and fears instead of the Lord. God wants your attention to be on Him throughout your day.
Second, you must trust in Him. Trusting God is putting your faith, confidence, and hope in Him alone. As you place your complete trust and assurance in Christ, His Peace will fill you.
As you learn to place your trust and focus on Christ, God promises that peace will become the characteristic of your life.
Let’s review that promise one more time.

Make these confessions.
- In Jesus Christ, I have supernatural peace.
- As I put my trust in Him, He fills me with His perfect peace.
- God is protecting and keeping His perfect Peace within me.
- I have the perfect Peace of God no matter what I may face.
- Jesus is giving me His perfect peace today.
I proclaim this in the name of Jesus.
