Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – I Am Working All Things for Your Good
We began the week with the promise that God is working all things for our good. He takes the good, bad, and everything in-between and uses them for our good and His glory.
Here’s the promise.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28
Make these confessions.
- God is working His good plan in my life.
- God has approved everything that comes into my life.
- He is working for my good and His glory.
- Even when I can’t see it, God is working.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
We can be confident that God has a plan and that there are no accidents. God has approved everything that comes into our lives, knowing He can use it for our good and His glory.
Tuesday – Submitted Plans Bring Success
On Tuesday, we learned that when we give our plans to the Lord, He gives us direction and guidance. With His help, our plans become successful.
Here’s the promise.
Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established. – Proverbs 16:3
Make these confessions.
- Today I submit my life and all my plans to the Lord.
- I am listening for His approval and direction.
- I know He will lead and guide me.
- God will establish my plans so they will be successful.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
If we want our work to succeed, we must give it to the Lord. We need His approval before we even begin. In doing so, we will find new wisdom and guidance as we work. God will bless our work and bring about success.
Wednesday – I Will Give You Hope
Midway through the week, we saw that true hope only comes from the Lord. Hope is more than wishful thinking. It is placing our complete faith and trust in the Lord.
Here’s the promise.
Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord. – Psalm 31:24
Make these confessions.
- I put my hope in the Lord.
- God is strengthening me as I hope in Him.
- I have newfound courage through my hope in Christ.
- One day my hope will be a reality when I see Him face to face.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
As we place our hope in the Lord, we will find new strength and courage to face our biggest challenge.
Thursday – I Will Supply All Your Needs
On Thursday, we claimed the promise that God will supply all our needs. There is not a need or problem we will face today that God will not supply through our faith in Christ Jesus.
Here’s the promise.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19
Make these confessions.
- God is meeting my every need.
- He is meeting my needs through Christ Jesus.
- I will not worry or live in fear because my God is meeting my every need.
- I put my faith and trust in Him.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
As we trust in the Lord to supply our every need, we will find new freedom, confidence, and faith.
Friday – You Will Prosper in All You Do
We ended the week with the promise that even though we will face many trials in this life, God delivers us from them all.
Here’s the promise.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. – Psalm 34:19
Make these confessions.
- When I face difficulties, God delivers me.
- Sometimes He delivers me from problems.
- Sometimes He meets me in the problem.
- As I go through difficulties, God strengthens my faith.
- I will experience complete deliverance when I see Him face to face.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Remember, there is always more deliverance than there are afflictions.
That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
