I Will Open Your Spiritual Eyes

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.
Ephesians 1:18-19

Blinded Spiritual Eyes

The Bible says that before you came to Christ, you were blind to God’s love and goodness. You couldn’t see or understand spiritual truth. 2 Corinthians 4:4 says that Satan had blinded your eyes to spiritual truth and the goodness of Christ.

When God began working in your life, He opened your eyes to His love for you. When you came to Christ, He gave you the ability to understand spiritual truth. Every day He opens your eyes to His love and all He has for you.

God continues to open your eyes to greater spiritual truth. As you walk in obedience to what He has shown you, He opens your eyes to even more truth.

Right now, God is opening your eyes to at least three spiritual truths.

  1. The hope of your calling. As I mentioned before, your walk with God is just a down payment for all He has for you. Your few short years here on the earth are but a flash compared to eternity.
  2. The riches of his glory. Our words fail when trying to describe God’s greatness and glory. The more you understand the depth of His glory, the more your faith grows. You serve a mighty God who is working on your behalf.
  3. The surpassing greatness of His power to you. Through the Holy Spirit, God has empowered you with spiritual gifts and authority. Only the Holy Spirit can teach you what His power and authority mean in your day-to-day living.

Today, God is opening your eyes to a deeper understanding of His love and power for you. No matter where you are in your walk with God, He has more spiritual truth to show you. He wants you to see how much more He has for you and how great His plan is for your life.

Look at that promise again.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. – Ephesians 1:18-19

Make these confessions.

  • God is opening my eyes to the hope I have in Christ.
  • I am part of the inheritance of the saints.
  • God is pouring His incredible power on me.
  • Every day God is opening my eyes to all He has for me.
  • In Jesus’ Name,
    Amen

As you grow in your walk with God, I pray He opens your spiritual eyes to a deeper understanding of who He is and how He is working in your life.

God helped me to know about the Living God. Hitherto, I had a very vague understanding about God. Now, I know He is my Father and I am His son. The protective shield of The Holy Spirit guides me and protects me and encourages me to walk the path of righteousness in Him. Thank Lord.
    Thank you.Thank you.Thank you.
