Your Sin is Removed
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12
You can live without condemnation or shame today because Jesus has removed your sin.
The Power of Sin is Broken
When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the penalty and broke the power of sin.
When you came to Christ through faith, you asked for forgiveness of your sin. At that moment, the blood of Jesus forgave your sin. You were made right with God, and He removed your sin.
The Psalmist says that God removes your sin as for as the East is from the West.
You can measure the distance between north and south. There is a North pole and a south pole. If you travel North long enough, you reach the northernmost point on the Earth. When it comes to traveling East, though, you can continue forever and never reach the West. East is an unending distance from the West. God took your sin and placed it at an infinite distance from you. Your sin is no longer around.
Your Sin is Removed
So many Christians still carry the guilt of sin with them. Even though God has removed their sin, they still beat themselves up about past sins and mistakes. They feel inadequate for God to use them, and they never experience the joy of having their sin removed. They come to God, again and again, asking His forgiveness for sin God has already forgiven.
They don’t really believe God has forgiven them. They don’t stand in faith when it comes to their forgiveness. They feel guilty for sins God has already forgiven.
Some Christians believe God has forgiven their sin, but they can’t forgive themselves. They see themselves as second-class Christians because of their sin. They don’t understand that if God can forgive them, surely they can forgive themselves. They can’t seem to accept the fact that God removed their sin.
Are you carrying around a load of old guilt and shame from your past?

If God has forgiven your sin, surely you can forgive yourself.
No Longer Your Own
Your sin is no longer your own. It was placed on Jesus, and He carried your sin to the cross. Your sin has been removed. You don’t have to carry it around anymore because it’s no longer yours. It is time to leave guilt and shame behind. Your sin is gone, and it’s never coming back.
Look at this promise one more time.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. – Psalm 103:12
Make these confessions.
- In Jesus Christ, my sins have been removed.
- My sin is as far from me as the east is from the west.
- I no longer live in shame or guilt.
- Jesus has forgiven and removed my sin.

Wow!! For some reason, I thought that I needed to ask for forgiveness of all my sins by name. When I’m reminded of a sin, I say to God that I forgot to ask for His forgiveness. So, I ask Him to forgive me of the one I forgot. So this message is a revelation to me.. Thank you.
The realisation of the fact that my sins are forgiven and God has cast them so infinitely far away is very relieving and assuring and there is absolutely no reason for me to feel guilty about my sins. God loves me. Thank You Lord.Thank You.Thank You.Than You.
I don’t need to carry my sins again because Christ had carried them. The guilt and shame are not mine any longer—I only need to live in the Freedom that He gave me. Thank you so much sir. Thank you.
I needed this today – Thank you
I would go further to say that if we accept that God has forgiven all our sins and so we are no surprise to him; yet refuse to forgive ourselves; haven’t we set our self-forgiveness as greater than God’s and created a sort of idol? Don’t set yourself up… receive His forgiveness, live forgiven and then forgive as you have been forgiven.
I carry some sin around. Been trying hard to have faith enough to believe Jesus got rid of if all I’m. Working on it
Please pray that I can believe wholly that God has forgiven all my past sins.
Thank you jesus for dying on the cross and burying my sins by the blood of the lamb.
Thank you for reminding me that my past sins are forgiven. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that came into my heart when I confessed my sins.
Thank you for 1st John 1:9. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
