Today’s Promise

God Freely Gives All We Need

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
Romans 8:32

God’s Incredible Love

God’s love is beyond our understanding. As His children, we don’t have to beg for His blessing.

If we could ever truly grasp how good God is and how much He wants to bless us, it would completely transform our lives.

Instead of coming to God as His child, expecting Him to give us what we need, we often go to Him either not expecting an answer or begging and pleading for His blessing.

God Freely Gives

This promise reminds us that God has given us the greatest gift of all in His Son, Jesus. He willingly sent Jesus into the world to die for our sins. If God was willing to give us this ultimate sacrifice, why would He not willingly give us what we need?

In 2 Peter 1:3, Peter reminds us that God has already given us all we need for life. A few verses before this promise, Paul says that God is working all things together for our good. (v.28) In the verse just before this promise (v.31), Paul says that if God is for us, who can be against us?

God is not a stingy God who you have to beg for His attention or blessing. As His child, he has already blessed you with everything you need in Christ. God is on your side and is working for your good.

The Greatest Gift

God has already given you the greatest gift of all. He has blessed you with salvation and eternal life. What makes you think He is not working for your good today?

Sure, there may be some days of trouble and trial, but God will work them for your good. He will be there with you, on your side in the trial. He will give you the strength to overcome.

Why not begin your day remembering that God will freely give you all things? Put this promise on the mirror in your bathroom and review it while you brush your teeth. Place this promise in your car, your office. Place it throughout your house as a reminder of His desire to bless you. It will change your heart and strengthen your faith.

When you pray, pray in faith, knowing that the God who willingly gave His only Son will provide whatever you need today.

Look at that promise again.

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? – Romans 8:32

Make these confessions.

  • God is on my side, working for my good.
  • He willingly gave His Son to purchase my salvation.
  • He will freely give me everything I need.
  • I can come to Him as His child, knowing He will bless me and give me all things.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

If God willingly sent His only Son to die for you on the cross, why would He not willingly help you when you call on Him?
