Today’s Promise

God is Working for My Good

Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

We are continuing our look at five promises found in Romans 8.

Every day, God is working in your life. You may not see it, or you may not even believe it, but God is working behind the scenes to bring about good. Paul began the verse by saying he was absolutely convinced of this fact.

This promise doesn’t guarantee that God will eliminate every issue or problem that you comes your way. We live in a fallen world, and sometimes bad things happen to good people. Life can be hard at times, and sometimes the answers are just out of reach. At times it may be hard to see God’s hand at work, but trust me even right this moment, God is working in your life.

This verse does promise that God will take the bad things that happen and use them for good and His glory. God has a plan for you and your life. Everything that comes into your life has received the approval of God.

Though God doesn’t stop difficult things from coming into your life, He does work in those difficult times to bring about good things in your life. God does not cause difficult or bad things to happen in your life. However, He can use them to mold your character, grow your faith and bring things together for your good.

The answer to the big “why” question may not be answered until you get to heaven. You can, however, hold onto this verse that God has a plan and He will work everything for your good.

Every day, God is working in your life.

Look at that verse again.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28

Confess this with me.

I know that whatever I face, God has a plan.
He is working for my good and His glory.
God can use everything for good that comes into my life.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

You can be confident that God has a plan and that there are no accidents.

Everything that comes into your life has passed by the desk of God. He has placed His stamp of approval knowing He can use to for your good and His glory.

This verse is so true in how God can take the bad and make it good or to at least see some good, for His glory! In my dad’s passing from his earthly body to his heavenly one this week. I completely see God’s Hand in it. We normally serve at Watered Garden on the 1st of every Saturday however last Saturday we chose to get our grand from Springfield. My dad text me while I was at the park wondering if we’d like to go out to eat. Roz, our grand was getting homesick for her parents so we thought we were going to take her home. However in talking with in her parents they helped her to stay. So I text my dad and asked if 6 would be ok? We went and picked him up and went out to eat. Roz said, we need to pray before we eat so my man prayed and thanked God for the dinner and fellowship of family. We dropped dad off at his place. My man took him his water on Sunday afternoon and he entered his eternal body, Monday! Wow that is a lot to take in. We were not expecting him to pass onto eternity but God knew so through His grace and mercy made Saturday night happen because my Dad would be with Him on Monday. I believe He definitely had His loving hand in His sovereign plan for my Dad and us! Thankful to God who causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. ✝️?. We love God and are the called according to His purpose, indeed!!!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but praise the Lord that he knew the Lord. Our God is good.
