Today’s Promise
I Have the Fullness of God in Me
Ephesians 3:19
And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
This promise is the third part of a prayer Paul made for the church of Ephesus and for you and me.
God desires for you to know the Love of Christ.
This isn’t just head knowledge of God’s love, but experiential knowledge. Paul is praying you experience the incomprehensible love of Christ. The more you experience the love of God in your life, the more His fullness is evident in your life.
No matter how much of God’s love you experience, there is still more than you can imagine. You never have to worry about reaching the end of God’s love. No matter how far or deep you go, there is always more.
As Warren Wiersbe said, “As a Christian, you never have to worry about inadequate spiritual resources for day to day living.”
Sailing on the open sea is a wonderful picture of God’s love. You can see the open ocean all the way to the horizon. Yet, the further you go, the further the ocean extends. When you get to the horizon, you find the boundaries have moved, and now the edge of the horizon is just as far away as it was before.
No matter how far you go, there is always an open horizon of God’s love before you.
As you experience the boundless love of God in your day to day living, you will experience the fullness of God in your life.
The more you grab ahold of God’s love, the more find the abundance of God’s presence flowing through your life.
Look at that promise again.
And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:19 (ESV)
Make this confession.
I have the fullness of God in me.
God’s love is beyond my comprehension.
I experience God’s love on a daily basis.
The more I comprehend His love, the more I experience His fullness.
In Jesus name,
Amen
