Today’s Promise
Nothing Can Separate Me From God’s Love
Romans 8:38-39
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The love of God is the most powerful force in the universe.
It was the love of God that created everything you see around you. It was the love of God that sent Jesus to die for your sins. It was the love of God that called to you to come to Christ. It is the love of God that surrounds and empowers you every day.
The message of the Gospel is a love story written by the hand of God.
We love Him because He first loved us. The Love of God can reach into the coldest of hearts and bring new life and warmth. As a Christian, you are in a love relationship with Christ.
There is nothing in all creation that can keep you away from the Love of God.
There is not a demonic or angelic force that can keep you from living in the love of God. There are no circumstances that you are currently in, or ever will experience that can separate you from God’s love.
Even your own failure and sin will not separate you from God’s love.
Even though you might not be faithful, God is always faithful. His love has no limits, and His love abounds even when we are unfaithful to Him. There is nothing you can do that will keep you away from the Love of God. Your biggest failure and worse defeat will not separate from God’s love. He loves you with an unlimited, unbridled love that will never leave you.
Look at this promise one more time.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39
Confess this with me.
- Nothing can separate me from God’s love.
- There is nothing I can do that will keep God from loving me.
- No force, seen or unseen can limit God’s love in my life.
- I am loved and accepted by God.
- Nothing can change that fact.
