Today’s Promise
God is Thinking of Me
Psalm 119:17-18
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.
Stop and think about this promise for a moment.
Right now, God is thinking about you. You have His attention. He is pouring his love over you as he thinks about you. You can never comprehend the number of precious thoughts He has toward you.
As the father of three grown children, I think about my kids many times a day. Sometimes it’s a fond memory of the past. Sometimes it’s a wish to see them soon, and sometimes it’s just a father hoping everything is well, and they are making wise choices. A loving parent is always thinking about their children.
As your loving Father, God is thinking about you.
His thoughts toward you are innumerable. You can never begin to comprehend the magnitude of His thoughts to you. When you look up at the sky on a clear spring night and see the thousands of stars shining brightly in the night, you could never begin to count them. If you walk along the sandy beach on a hot summer day, you could never count the grains of sand all along the water’s edge. When it comes to God’s thoughts of you, you can never grasp just how great His thoughts are toward you.
The Psalmist says, when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he remembers how much God loves him and is thinking about him. Next time you are awake last in the night with fear or worry, remember, God is thinking about you. He hasn’t forgotten you or ignored you. Right now, He is thinking about you. God’s thoughts toward you are beyond your comprehension. If you began reviewing them today, you would never live long enough to go through them all.
Let’s look at this promise one more time.

Confess this with me.
- Right now, God is thinking about me.
- I am on His heart and His mind.
- He thinks of me so often that I could never count or comprehend His thought about me.
- As my loving Father, I am always on His mind.
- Even in the middle of the night, God is thinking of me.
In Jesus Name.

Be encouraged today. The Great I AM is thinking about you today. You are in His thoughts. Rest easy; God is watching over you.
Amen, our father who art in heaven , has always been in my life and always made me aware of his presence in my life even if i did not understand why!! He never let go, and always comfort me .
So comforting. Does anyone care in this busy world? Yes God cares. When I am afraid, thinking I am all alone to handle a matter, in actual fact No. He’s thinking about me. He’s praying for me. He’s helping me to make wise decisions and protecting me all the way. I need to call upon His name! Thank you Lord Jesus!
