This Week’s Scriptures
Hebrews 13:20-21| John 8:36 | Jeremiah 1:5 | 1 Peter 5:10 | Colossians 1:21-22
Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise.
We began the week seeing how God has equipped you to serve Him.
Here’s the promise.
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. – Hebrews 13:20-21
Make this confession.
God has equipped me to walk in obedience today.
God called me and qualified me.
In Jesus Christ, I can handle anything that comes my way.
I walk in victory because God has equipped me.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
On Tuesday, we celebrated our free in Christ.
The promise is in John 8:36
So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.- John 8:36
Here’s the confession.
In Jesus Christ I am free
I am no longer a slave to my sin
I have freedom from my guilt and shame
I have freedom to walk in fellowship with God every day
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Midway through the week, we saw how God knew you before you were born.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations. – Jeremiah 1:15
Make this confession.
God knew me before I was born.
He formed me with His own hands.
God has appointed me for a special purpose.
I am known and loved by God.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
On Thursday we saw how God uses your suffering for good.
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. – 1 Peter 5:10
Confess this.
My suffering won’t last forever.
I can rejoice in my suffering because God will use it.
He is perfecting and confirming me.
He is strengthening me and will establish me.
My suffering is minimal compared to the glory of knowing Christ.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
We ended the week seeing how Jesus will one day present you to God holy, faultless and blameless.
Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil actions. But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him. – Colossians 1:21-22
Make this confession.
While I still hated God, He was working in me.
In Jesus Christ, I am holy.
His death has made me blameless before God.
Every sin I have or ever will commit is forgiven.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.
Take a moment and share one of the promises we learned this week, it will encourage a friend and help you remember the promise.
