This Week’s Scriptures
John 4:24 | 1 Corinthians 3:16 | Psalm 34:7 | Philippians 4:13 | Luke 10:20
We began the week seeing how we can worship God wherever we are, as long as it’s in spirit and truth.
Here’s the promise.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. – John 4:24
Make this confession.
I can worship God wherever I am.
I worship the Lord through the name of Jesus.
When I worship, my heart reaches out to God.
God accepts my worship when I worship Him with an honest and sincere heart.
In Jesus name,
Amen
On Tuesday, we saw how we are the temple of God.
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? – 1 Corinthians 3:16
Make this confession.
I am the temple of God
God’s spirit dwells in me
Wherever I go, I bring the presence of God with me.
I represent the presence of God to the world around me.
My life brings glory and honor to God in all I do.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Midway through the week, we discovered that angels surround us with supernatural protection.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. – Psalm 34:7
Make this confession.
I may not see them, but God has stationed angels all around me.
There are more with me than against me.
I will not fear, knowing angels are defending me.
Today, an angelic army surrounds and protects me.
In Jesus name,
Amen
On Thursday, we claimed the promise that we can do all things through Christ in us.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. – Philippians 4:13
Make this confession.
In Jesus Christ, I can do all things.
Whatever comes into my life, I can overcome it through the power of Christ in me.
No challenge or problem is too great for me.
I can accomplish whatever God has called me to because Christ will strengthen me.
Today, I walk in the power and strength of Christ in me.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
We ended the week, celebrating that our eternity is secure because our names are written down in heaven.
Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. – Luke 10:20
Make this confession.
My name is written in heaven.
I will spend eternity in the presence of God in heaven.
Nothing can separate me from my eternal home.
I do not fear death because I know where I will spend eternity.
In Jesus name,
Amen
