Today’s Promise

God Always Keeps His Promise

1 Kings 8:56

Blessed be the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by Moses his servant.

Reviewing Your Life

Your confidence grows as you review how God has dealt with you in the past. As you look back on your life, you see God working to protect and provide for you.

In this scripture, Solomon gives a blessing to the people of God. As he discusses their history, he concludes that God’s promises have never failed. That what God has said He will do; He does.

Not One word has Failed

I love the phrase, “Not one word has failed.” You can claim the promises of the Bible because they are the word of God, and God always keeps His word.

As one who has walked with the Lord for many years, I can agree with Solomon that God has never failed to fulfill His promise in my life. At times, I may not have understood it, but as I look back on my life, I can see His hand working in me.

God Keeps His Promise

The God you serve is the God who makes good on His promises. You and I can stand alongside King Solomon and agree that not one word of God has failed.

Faith believes that what God has said, He will do. Reviewing how God has worked in your life in the past is a powerful way of strengthening your faith. Sure there were times when you felt like He wasn’t going to come through. You may have experienced times of discouragement, but God has always fulfilled His promise to you.

Take a few moments today and review how God has been faithful in your life. Even when you made mistakes and missed God, He has been faithful to provide loving care to you.

Look at that promise once again.

Blessed be the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by Moses his servant. – 1 Kings 8:56

Make these confessions.

  • Every promise of God will come true.
  • Even when I don’t understand, God is working to fulfill His word.
  • I trust God that what He has said, He will do.
  • I claim God’s promise to me today.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you begin your week, remember, the God you serve is the promise-keeping God. He will always fulfill His word.

Oh God! How true this is: I can’t begin to tell you how many times God has taken care of me and my family.
Carefully being by side and helping me through troubles and needs.

Give the Lord all the praises; Amen
