God Answers Your Prayers

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
1 John 5:14-15

God Hears and Answers

When you pray, you release the power of heaven into the world around you. When you pray according to God’s will, you have the confidence that your prayer is heard and answered by your Heavenly Father.

What a promise! You can know that when you pray, God hears your prayer.

Few of us would say we pray with that kind of confidence. For many of us, prayer is difficult and even challenging. So often, we come to God with hope instead of faith. We hope He hears; we hope He answers, and we hope we are praying correctly.

Come Boldly Into His Presence

God invites you to come boldly into His presence and bring your request to Him. You can pray in confidence because of your relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not about how good you are but about all Christ has done for you. Because of your faith in Christ, you can take God’s word seriously and stand firm in asking for the things He has promised.

Jesus had absolute confidence that God heard His prayers. Because you are His follower, you can have that same confidence.

When God hears your prayer, it is more than God just acknowledging your request. You know that when God hears your prayer, He answers. It is like the King who listens to the request of his servant and responds. When God hears your prayer, He answers your prayer.

You have the full assurance that as you bring your requests to the Lord, He not only hears your prayer but answers as well.

Let’s look at that promise one more time.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. – 1 John 5:14-15

Make these confessions.

  • God invites me to come boldly into His presence.
  • I confidently bring my request to God.
  • As I pray according to His will, I know He answers.
  • I know God answers my prayer.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

Through Christ, you can approach God in prayer with confidence, knowing He will answer your prayer.

I had prayed about getting a job transfer to another part of my company. It took a while, but God answered my prayer.

I prayed that my daughter in law would have a healthy baby after two miscarriages. Also that my son would have his 1st child. His wife has 3 of her own. and with miscarriages he was afraid he would not have a child.
This was also my 1st grand baby.
God answered that prayer with a healthy baby boy. Thank you Jesus❤️

I prayed for God to heal my mom of cancer and allow her to live. She died last month. How do you know you are praying according to God’s will?

We know we are praying God’s will when we line our prayer up with his word. It’s hard when we pray for someone and they aren’t healed. We know that each person has an appointed time to die. Rarely do we understand, but we have to truth God that He is in control and that His ways are above our ways. – Billy

I am struggling to understand her death. I was feeling like I didn’t pray hard enough or I didn’t pray the right way. I kept saying healing Scriptures over her but just don’t understand. Praying God will help me.

Having been a pastor for many years, why someone dies before their time is always a difficult thing to go through. the Bible says there is an appointed time for each of us. There isn’t a magic key that if you had prayed just right, God would have saved her. You have to pray sincerely and then leave the results up to God. My mother passed away the morning after we have 8 men of great faith pray over during the night. One of the men has seen many healings in his ministry. The others were all great men of Fatih. At some point we have to say, God I trust you. I don’t understand it, but I trust you. I do know this. If your mother was a believer, she is in the presence of God, experiencing His love a new and deeper level than ever before. She has a new body and every tear has been ripped away. – Billy
