God Gives You Spiritual Amor
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Ephesians 6:13
Spiritual Battle
You woke up this morning to a spiritual battle. Spiritual forces in heavenly places are out for your destruction. They want to destroy you, your family, and everything dear to you. However, God has given you supernatural spiritual armor to stand against any and every attack.
I once heard a preacher say when you come across a “therefore” in scripture, always take the time to find out what it’s there for.
In the verse just before this verse, Paul tells us that we are in a battle. This battle isn’t against physical forces but against wicked heavenly forces. Satan and his dark forces will attack you when you least expect it.
Some Christians…
Some Christians are so caught up in their day-to-day lives that they never even notice the attacks of Satan. They never show up for battle because they are distracted by the world. When you don’t show up for battle, you are guaranteed one thing – total defeat.
Other Christians try to fight spiritual battles with physical weapons. They think if they worry and fret, things will get better. They never realize that worry and fret are useless and fear and condemnation are weapons Satan uses against them.
Other Christians never show up for battle because they accept what comes into their life as “God’s will” and never understand that Satan may be the one attacking.
Spiritual Armor
That’s why Paul says to put on the armor of God. Take the shield, put on the helmet, strap on the breastplate, and don’t forget your sword. You will need all of them to stand against the attacks that will come against you today.
Ask God to open your eyes to the spiritual attacks that come your way. Be ready with your spiritual armor on and the sword of the Spirit in your hand.
Look at that promise again.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. – Ephesians 6:13
Makes these confessions.
- Father, open my eyes to the spiritual battle around me.
- By faith, I take on the supernatural armor of God.
- Today, I stand against every force of darkness that comes against me.
- I will keep standing until I see victory.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
One last thing. Paul says when you have done everything you can do, stand firm. In Jesus Christ, you have the promise of victory. Satan will always fall before the Christian who is empowered by the armor of God.

Yes I’ve faced many spiritual battles and have with Jesus won them all Amen and Amen😇🙏
