Hold Onto the Promises of God
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:23
The Bible is filled with promises from God. We can claim these promises because we know He is faithful to keep them.
Promises Worth Claiming
Every promise of God is worth claiming. When God makes a promise, you can be confident He will fulfill it. The basis of our faith is God’s faithfulness to keep His promises.
God’s faithfulness is part of His character. Because we know He is faithful, we can claim the promises He has made.

God’s Character Guarantees Each Promise
God’s character and holiness back every one of His promises. God can no more fail to fulfill a promise than He can fail to be God. God backs every promise with His standing as the great creator God.
Hold Onto the Promises
As a believer, you can hold fast to His promise because you know God will fulfill it. God has never failed to fulfill any promise made to His people.
Faith is holding on to God’s promises. As you hold on to God’s promises, He strengthens and upholds you.
As you hold fast to the promises of God, you see God fulfilling each of His promises in your life.
- You know your sins are forgiven, and you stand before God as His child.
- You know that one day, Jesus will return for His people.
- You know that you will see Jesus face to face and spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
- You know that one day, God will establish His kingdom here on earth forever.
- You know that one day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.
- How do you know these things? Because God has promised.
Look at that promise again.
