Today’s Promise
I Hold Onto the Promises of God
Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
God’s Promises
Every promise of God is worth holding on to. When God makes a promise, you can be certain He will fulfill it.
When God makes a promise, He keeps it. The basis of our faith is God’s faithfulness to fulfill His promise.
God’s faithfulness is connected to His character. Because we know He is faithful, we can claim the promises He has made.
God’s own character and holiness back every promise God has made. God can no more fail to fulfill a promise; than He can fail to be God.
As a believer, you can hold fast to His promise because you know God will fulfill it. God has never once failed to fulfill a promise He made to His people.
God Will Do What He Said
The basis of your faith is that God will do what He has said He would do. Our hope is grounded on God’s faithfulness to His promise.
As you hold onto God’s promise, He strengthens and upholds you.
As you hold fast to the promise of God, you see the promises God has made for the future as certain.
You Know…
You know your sins have been forgiven, and you stand before God as His child.
You know that one day, Jesus will return for His people.
You know that when you die, you will see Jesus face to face and spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
You know that one day, God will establish His kingdom here on earth forever.
You know that one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.
Look at that promise again.
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. – Hebrews 10:23
You can claim God’s promise because you know He is faithful to do what He has committed to do.
Make these confessions.
- God will fulfill every promise He has made.
- I hold fast to the hope I have in Jesus Christ.
- My hope is not based on my strength, but His faithfulness.
- I am confident that what God has said, He will do.
In Jesus name,
Amen
Bringing The Daily Promise to you every day is one of the joys of my life. I am amazed at how God uses the promise from an episode to minister to someone halfway across the country.
I want to make The Daily Promise as helpful as possible. You can really help me by telling me is there is a promise or topic you would like me to cover. Is there something your struggling with, where you need a promise from God? Let me know in the comments section below.
One thing I need help with is my daily struggle with depression and anxiety…I need to see and hear what God’s word says about it…Thank you for these daily promises !!

Brian,
Thanks for your honesty. We all have struggles, you are not alone. I’ll look for some promises specifically for you to include in the near future. – Billy
I’d love a promise about how to know what you are doing or what has happened in your life is of God and not my own will. Can I make a choice that is my own will, yet still be blessed by God through that? For example, we recently moved and I’m now doubting myself that it was of God, although we found a house, my job was flexible in remote working and now my husband has a good opportunity. That being said, it’s been so hard to leave our other community, fighting in the household, and our kids are struggling so much that I’m worried I didn’t seek God enough prior to making the decision
Thanks Celeste, I’ll see what I can find. – Billy
I had depression so bad that I went to a believing physician, who prayed for me in his office!!! He explained that the neurons in the brain were not connecting as they were supposed to, and after trying three medications, we found one that worked. I thank God.
Nancy, I’m praying for you. Grap ahold of the promise that Jesus is the source of your joy. I know this is a tough path you are on. – Billy
