Jesus Brings Grace, Mercy, and Peace

Grace, mercy and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
2 John 1:3

Three Powerful Promises

Today we are looking at three powerful promises God has made to us. Here’s the promise.

As followers of Christ, God fills our lives with grace, mercy, and peace.

Grace

Grace is the unmerited favor of God. Grace the blessing of God. Grace is getting what you don’t deserve. Salvation is a gift of grace you don’t deserve and can’t earn.

Your standing as a child of God isn’t based on how good you are or how hard you try. Salvation is a gift from God that is received by faith. Salvation is God’s grace lived out in your life.

Mercy

If grace is getting what you don’t deserve, mercy is not getting what you do deserve. According to Ephesians 2:4, God is rich in mercy.

God’s mercy sent Jesus into the world to save you from your sin. God’s mercy came up with the idea of salvation in the first place. If you were to receive what you deserve, you would be separated from the presence of God for all eternity. It is His mercy and love that opened the door for your salvation.

Mercy doesn’t keep a record of your sin. God’s mercy removed your sin as far as the east is to the west.

Peace

Finally, peace comes from God’s grace and mercy working in your life. Because of His grace and mercy, you have peace with God. The peace of God is the beginning point of all peace. Every aspect of peace in your life flows from your peace with God. When your soul is at peace, every other area of your life can rest in that peace.

Look at that promise again.

Grace, mercy and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. – 2 John 1:3

Make these confessions.

  • God’s grace is with me today.
  • His grace drew me to Himself and brought about my salvation.
  • God’s mercy is flowing over me today.
  • His mercy forgave my sin and made me new in Him.
  • I have peace because of God’s grace and mercy.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

God’s mercy and grace come together to bring about God’s peace in your life.

    Good morning ?
Your ministry continues to be a huge blessing in my life!!! Thank YOU and God bless you! I stopped receiving the episodes in my email. I didn’t get Monday, Tuesday, and Today’s. I went through withdrawal:) Thankfully, I went to check through an old email, found the main page and then the episodes. Can that be fixed please?

Also, I wasn’t sure if after making an anniversary donation if the ebook was sent immediately or it will come at a later date?

    God’s richest blessings ?❤️

Yes, it is only God’s Grace and Mercy that has changed my character and me as a person. His Peace rests upon me when I feel lonely and seems to assure me my Lord is with me. Thank You Lord. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
