Jesus Brings Living Water
If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’
John 7:37-38
Living Water
Jesus promises living water to everyone who puts their trust in Him. His living water will quench the thirst of your soul and overflow to the world around you.
Growing up in Texas, I know a lot about hot days. When 100-degree days stretch into weeks, stepping out of your house is like stepping into a blast furnace.
On a hot day, few things are more refreshing than an ice-cold drink of water. You can go for a long time without food, but you can only survive for a few days without water. Water is essential to life.
Jesus promised living water to those who would come to Him. His living water satisfies your soul and refreshes your spirit. He promised the woman at the well that once she tasted the living water, she would never thirst again.
Healing Water
Water is a symbol of cleansing in the Bible. The living water of the Holy Spirit cleanses your heart and your hands.
Jesus said this living water would bubble up from within and overflow to the world around you. It is a constant supply of satisfaction and renewal.
In a dry and thirsty world, where hearts have become hard as parched ground, you have living water that softens your heart and heals your hurt.
The Holy Spirit
In the next verse, Jesus explains that this living water is the promised Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit brings healing, satisfaction, and renewal. As a believer, the promise of Jesus is the living water of the Holy Spirit flowing from within you. He is a never-ending source of joy, refreshment, and power.
If your heart is dry and you need refreshment, come to Him and find living water that will quench your thirst for all eternity. One drink of His living water, and you will never thirst again.
Let’s look at that promise one more time.
If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ – John 7:37-38

Yes I have many times in my Christian life..
Amen Amen😇
Once I asked someone for a drink and they refuse, and as I walked away I remembered these words of Jesus and realized I had His living water in me that sustained me and I prayed for that person who had refused to give me a drink.
