Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – There is No Condemnation in Christ

On Monday, we claimed the promise that our sin debt was paid on the cross. Every sin we have committed or ever will commit has been forgiven. We live without shame, guilt, or condemnation.

Here’s the promise.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. – Romans 8:1

Make these confessions.
  • In Jesus Christ, my sin is paid.
  • There is no condemnation on me.
  • I am free from the shame and the guilt of my past.
  • Praise God, Jesus has taken away all my condemnation.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Never allow the condemnation of religion to overshadow the forgiveness you have found in Christ.

Tuesday – I Have the Fruit of the Spirit

On Tuesday, we saw how the fruit of the Spirit is growing in us daily. These fruit of the Holy Spirit grow in me as I walk filled with the Holy Spirit.

Here’s the promise.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. – Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)

Make these confessions.
  • In Jesus Name, the fruit of the Spirit are going in my life.
  • As I walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, these fruit become evident in my life.
  • When the fruit of the Spirit are not evident, they remind me to check my walk with God.
  • I chose today to walk in the Spirit and allow Him to grow these fruit in my life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Today, as you walk filled with the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit are growing in your life.

Wednesday – I Have Confidence Before God

Midway through the week, we celebrated the promise that God invites us to come boldly before Him. In His presence, we find mercy, grace, and help.

Here’s the promise.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Make these confessions.
  • God invites me to come before Him with confidence.
  • I come before the throne of grace, not the throne of judgment.
  • I find mercy and help when I come before Him in prayer.
  • At His feet, I find grace, mercy, and help.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

You can come before God with confidence, knowing He welcomes you. At His feet, you will find mercy for your past and help for your future.

Thursday – In All I Do I Prosper

On Thursday, we were reminded that when we make the Word of God our priority, God promises that all we will prosper.

Your prosperity is not a reflection of your hard work and brilliance. It is the blessing of God as you line up your life with His Word.

Here’s the promise.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. – Psalm 1:3

Confess this with me,
  • As I delight in God’s Word, I proper.
  • I have the wisdom to make good choices.
  • I prosper in my career, my relationships, and my finances.
  • My prosperity is a witness to the wisdom of living God’s way.
  • I have true success as I delight in God’s Word

In Jesus Name,
Amen

There is great wisdom in living life according to the Word of God. Your prosperity is a reflection of the importance of living life delighting in the Word.

Friday – The Resurrection Promise

We ended the week celebrating the promise of the resurrection. The resurrection of Christ sets Christianity apart from all other religions.

Here’s the promise.

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day. – Luke 24:45-46

Make these confessions.
  • After three days in the grave, Jesus rose from the dead.
  • Because Jesus overcame death, I do not fear the grave.
  • Because Jesus rose from the dead, He offers eternal life to me.
  • Father, thank you for the resurrection of Christ.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Remember, that you don’t have to fear death. Celebrate that because of the resurrection; you have new life in Christ.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.
