Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – His Favor Lasts a Lifetime

We began the week talking about God’s supernatural favor. His kindness, blessing, and grace are all wrapped up in his favor. His favor is not just for a moment but lasts a lifetime.

Here’s the promise.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. – Psalm 30:5

Make these confessions.
  • I live in the favor of God.
  • God’s favor toward me is renewed every morning.
  • I don’t deserve His favor, but He pours it out on me every day.
  • I will never outlive God’s favor on me.
  • Every blessing is evidence of God’s favor in my life.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Take a moment and confess God’s favor on you. As His child, you walk in the favor and grace of God today.

Tuesday – Be Thankful in Everything

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that because God is in control, we can be thankful in every situation. We can always find something to be thankful for, no matter what we go through.

Here’s the promise.

In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Make these confessions.
  • I thank God for pouring out His blessings on me.
  • I will spend a few moments every day expressing my thankfulness.
  • God is the source of all I need.

I thank God in every situation because I know He is working for my good.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Today, you can be thankful because you know God is working in your life as your protector and provider.

Wednesday – Jesus is the Anchor

Midway through the week, we saw that Jesus is our secure anchor. Storms are part of life. When the storms come, we have a secure anchor who will protect and strengthen us.

Here’s the promise.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil. – Hebrews 6:19

Make these confessions
  • Jesus is my sure anchor.
  • He keeps me safe and secure.
  • When the wind blows, and the storm rises, He is my anchor.
  • Jesus is my eternal security and hope for all eternity.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

When you put your faith in Christ, He becomes an anchor that holds strong no matter how hard the wind blows or how high waves rise.

Thursday – Led by the Holy Spirit

On Thursday, we confessed that the Holy Spirit is always leading us. God rarely gives you the big picture or the final destination. Like a spiritual GPS, He only reveals the next step you should take.

Here’s the promise.

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. – Romans 8:14

Make these confessions.
  • As a child of God, the Holy Spirit leads me.
  • The Holy Spirit speaks in a still, small voice.
  • The Holy Spirit leads me one step at a time.
  • The more I listen for His voice, the more He leads me through the day.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

The more you keep your spiritual ears open and obey what you hear, the more you will find the Holy Spirit speaking to you. He will lead and direct you as never before.

Friday – God Wants to Bless You

We ended the week seeing how God is constantly seeking to bless those who put their trust in Him.

Here’s the promise.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.” – 2 Chronicles 16:9

Make these confessions.
  • As a follower of Christ, God is my strong support.
  • He is on my side.
  • I will never be overlooked or forgotten in His eyes.
  • God is standing with me to protect and provide for me.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

As a committed Christian, God looks for ways to support, bless, and strengthen you. He is always on the lookout for those who will trust in Him.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
