Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – God Promises Wisdom
We began the week with the promise that God has a never-ending supply of wisdom that He provides to those who follow Him. That wisdom creates a shield of protection from the foolishness of life.
Here’s the promise.
For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity. – Proverbs 2:6-7
Make these confessions.
- Wisdom only comes from the hand of God.
- When I seek the Lord, I find wisdom.
- God has wisdom stored up for me.
- Wisdom is a shield about me protecting me from foolish choices.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
The book of James tells us to ask God for wisdom. Why not make asking for wisdom part of your daily prayer life? God gives wisdom to all who ask.
Tuesday – When I Am Weak, God is Strong
On Tuesday, we found that in our weakness, God shows Himself strong. Although we celebrate our strengths, God uses our weaknesses for His glory.
Here’s the promise.
For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. – 2 Corinthians 12:10
Make these confessions.
- God uses weak people to do great things.
- When I am weak, He is strong in me.
- God uses my weakness for His glory.
- Despite my weakness, God can still use me.

“All God’s giants were weak mean who did great things for God because they reckoned God to be with them.” – Hudson Taylor
Wednesday – God Gives Me Overflowing Hope
Midway through the week, we celebrated the promise that God fills us with overflowing hope. Biblical hope is not emotional well-wishing but complete confidence that God will do what He has promised.
Here’s the promise.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. – Romans 15:13
Make these confessions.
- Jesus fills me with hope.
- Because of that hope, I have peace and Joy.
- The Holy Spirit in me fills me with hope.
- I overflow with hope, joy, and peace today.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
When you lose hope, you lose everything, but Christ in your brings overflowing hope to all you do.
Thursday – I Know the Fullness of God’s Love
On Thursday, claimed the promise of knowing the incredible depth of Christ’s love for us. Through faith in Christ, God releases His love into every area of your heart and life.
Here’s the promise.
And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:19 (ESV)
Make these confessions.
- I have the fullness of God in me.
- God’s love is beyond my comprehension.
- The more I experience the love of Christ, the more there is to experience.
- The more I comprehend His love, the more I experience His fullness.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
The love of Christ is incomprehensible. There is no end to His love for you. His love for you goes further and deeper than you can ever experience. Through His love, you experience the fullness of God in you.
Friday – Jesus Reconciled Me to God
We ended the week with the promise that God has reconciled us to Himself. We are no longer strangers or enemies with God. Through the blood of Christ, we have become friends with God.
Here’s the promise.
Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. – 2 Corinthians 5:18
Make these confessions.
- My faith has reconciled me to God.
- My sins are forgiven and removed.
- Jesus placed His righteousness on me.
- God gives me the ministry of bringing others into a relationship with Him.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
As a new creation, who is now a friend of God, you have the opportunity to point others to the love of Christ. You have the ministry of reconciling others to God.
