Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – Angelic Warriors Protect Me

We began the week discovering that God has angels encircling and protecting us. The servant of Elisha’s eyes were opened to see into the spiritual world and realized that those who were with them were greater than those who were against them.

Here’s the promise.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. – Psalm 34:7

Angelic warriors with flaming swords are ready and able to come against any force or foe who comes against you today.

Make these confessions.
  • I may not see them, but God has stationed angels all around me.
  • There are more with me than against me.
  • I will not fear, knowing angels are defending me.
  • Today, an angelic army surrounds and protects me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

I am praying God opens your spiritual eyes to see the spiritual reality in your life today.

Tuesday – My Name is Written in Heaven

On Tuesday, we saw how we can rejoice for our names are written in heaven. 

Here’s the promise.

Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. – Luke 10:20

Make these confessions.
  • My name is written in heaven.
  • I will spend eternity in the presence of God.
  • Nothing can separate me from my eternal home.
  • I do not fear death because I know where I will spend eternity.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Wednesday – God Strengthens My Inner Person

Midway through the week we claimed the promise that God is strengthening us in our inner person. The Christian life is lived from the inside out. Religion is living from the outside in.

Here’s the promise.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being. – Ephesians 3:16

Make these confessions.
  • God is strengthening my inner being today.
  • God’s power and grace are my sources of strength.
  • The Holy Spirit is empowering me today.
  • I am strong today because Christ gives me His strength
  • I will not give up or give in because I have the power of Christ in me.

In Jesus Name.
Amen

When your heart is empowered and strengthened, you can do anything. You can go longer than you imagine, further than you thought possible, and stay with it until you finish. Jesus is strengthening you today.

 

Thursday – God Carries Me in His Arms

On Thursday, we saw that when we are weak, and need help, God carries us close to His heart the way a shepherd carries his sheep.

Here’s the promise.

He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young. – Isaiah 40:11

Make these confessions.
  • Jesus is my great shepherd.
  • He provides for my every need.
  • When I am weak, he carries me close to His heart.
  • He gently leads me on the path I should follow.

In Jesus name,
Amen.

On your weakest days, when you are struggling or hurting, Jesus comes along, picks you up, and carries you close to His heart. He watches over you with tender care.

 

Friday – Jesus is Willing

We ended the week seeing that Jesus is always willing to bring healing and help into every problems we face. 

Here’s the promise.

And a leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” – Mark 1:40-41

Make these confessions.
  • Jesus is moved with compassion for me.
  • He is willing to enter into any problem I face.
  • When I come to Him, He always hears my call.
  • In Jesus Christ, I find compassion and healing.
  • In Jesus name,
    Amen

Never be afraid to come to Jesus with your needs and hurts. He is willing and able to meet your need and touch your life. Call on Him today.
